I flew mine for 20 minutes with the auline 4000mah li-on 6s. Most distance I've done is 6 miles in the desert. Geprc installed a gps on mine. Just buy one and say to install in the order notes.

I'm looking to get started on long range with a smaller 4 inch drone, I've stumbled upon 2 alternatives: GepRC tern lr40 and flywoo explorer lr4 which one would you recommend?

Hey Justin I'm doing a 8 inch build and I have some 2806.5 1300kv motors laying around. Think they'll do the trick or should I go bigger? I have a 7 inch that I did that I run Emax 2807 1300 kv that are badass. 2806.5 isn't that much smaller with the same kv... let me know what you think brother. Thanks

What size are the motors?

Impressive, this is a very smart move by GepRC. One could outfit this with Walksnail, ELRS, GPS w/ compass, and TrueRC antennas and still come in at $500.

How do you come close to building one for this price? I think we are going to see more affordable bnf's in the future.

Ive been thinking about getting into long range. This looks tempting since Ive heard a lot of pilots prefer analog to digital when flying long range for signal awareness. Would Fatshark Scouts have reception and strength to support this at any reasonable distance?

Could this be configured with DJI O3 air? Granted this setup is intended for longer range, but maybe with the range extenders on the goggles you could get pretty decent distance? Or maybe GEPRC will never offer O3 in this form factor because they wouldn't anticipate any demand for it? I have all of the DJI stuff anyway, it would be cool to try a large and affordable drone like this with it someday when I'm ready.
