Every time I watch anything related to the prequel trilogy, especially episode I, I’m instantly reminded of the Burger King toys 😂

I couldn’t believe how much I loved the movie seeing it today in theaters. Especially the pod racing scene which I didn’t even love as a kid. There’s a version of this movie where Anakin isn’t even in it, it’s crazy how he shows up seemingly out of no where. Knowing Maul isn’t wasted is huge too with the clone wars context

I was 5 when Phantom Menace came out. I loved it then. I still think I've rewatched this movie more than any of the Star Wars movies just due to how many times I rewound the VHS tape as a child. I am aware of how bad the plot is now but that does not change how much I still enjoy the battle scenes or how much I loved this movies as a child. I will always be a prequel defender.

Best toys Star Wars released from the prequels are the lightsabers. Beat the absolute shit out of each other with those.

I was 9 when this came out. There is no parallel to that summer. From collecting the Mountain Dew/Pepsi/Diet Pepsi cans to playing the video games and all the other content. This movie may have been a let down but the nostalgia is fantastic.

Side note, I didn’t know you needed to open them.. I tried to keep them full as I thought that would retain its value… welp they explode over time.
