About the Dynamo rail flicking thing, there's an easier way to do it. If you have B held and dismount a rail by releasing ZL, you'll get the height even if you started holding B a long time ago. So if you have B held, you only have to worry about releasing ZL and pressing ZR. (Credit goes to @KerosUniqueName for this.) (Also, dismounting a rail by releasing ZL lets you avoid jumping shot RNG. So you can do accurate blaster shots and stuff with this. If you're moving on the rail, your jump/dismount height is affected by the rail's slope, so watch for that too.)

I don’t know how people didn’t notice, it was like my favorite part about the stage since I started playing

Here’s one I’ve found really useful: if you’ve ever played with a Baller weapon on Clam Blitz, you probably know that exploding the Baller makes you drop all you clams (including power clams!), so barging toward the other team’s basket in your Baller isn’t really viable. BUT if the other team BREAKS your baller shield, you can IMMEDIATELY toss your power clam in! You’ll surely be splatted right after, but as long as you can get close enough and aim well, it’s a guaranteed 20 points. Just get close enough to the basket, activate your baller, and wait for the other team to break your barrier! I occasionally play with a Krak-On Splat Roller, and this has gotten me a bunch of wins!

As someone who has played splatoon for a while now, it's amazing how much I can still learn. Thank you for these tips.

I always use last ditch effort, it's useless if my team is doing well but I don't need buffs if I'm already winning, I like playing safe, special saver and quick respawn are also good at that

If you’re a back line and don’t die often it’s better to use special charge up, and quick respawn only works if you didn’t kill anyone

7:41 In addition to this, there's a trick you can pull off with the vanilla Tenta Brella! If you pop your shield out before you use your bubbles, it'll deal some chip damage if you launch them into the shield. It isn't as effective as the bomb combo for sure - you'll need to pop it with a shot from your gun regardless I believe, and I'm not too sure how applicable it is in high level play, but it's helped me a ton in the past.

The tent shield can actually pop the bubbles, it wont leave them at max damage. The only thing that does is bubbles' auto health regen. Even mines and splash wall can pop them

A couple of those things I didn't even know and I've been playing comp at a pretty high level for awhile now. One that especially surprised me was the whole running into a bomb with armour bit. I'm glad your videos aren't like every other one I see, keep it up

Wow, I'm surprised I didn't know about 12 of those facts! Good job on managing that and thanks! Also, don't forget that the Stamp special is also a risk in clam blitz as well as whenever you still have it on you, you can't throw clams and the toss animation is very frame heavy and can get you splatted very easily, especially with a power clam near the opposing team's basket.

Another thing I saw an opponent do was when they were cornered, they just jumped down and didn't let any of us get the splat, and it may sound stupid, but by doing so, he didn't ave to wait long at all to respawn

That first tip really helps. I maintained a bunch of zones with a booyah bomb on it

As someone who challenges myself to fire as many tentamissles as I can per game, I can confirm that throwing all your bombs, then following with missiles, and then immediately start shooting or throwing more bombs, will guarantee you a very quick second missiles!

I just wanna say, that if you use a blaster, you can get invincible for a frame if you ran out of ink and still shoot ( I found that out in rainmaker. It could be a glitch)

5:09 Squeezer has the same kind of synergy between MPU and its two modes, except it's much cheaper (just 1 sub) and arguably far more useful for it since it lets it just act like a regular shooter in close combat. It doesn't splat any faster because of the delay between modes, but it's a lot more consistent than trying to tapshot someone in your face. 9:44 not all weapons benefit from that, it depends on inking pattern. Even within the same class and range bracket- compare Zap which has spotty fill and needs to compensate by putting some impacts close, to .52 that largely paints with its fill and doesn't need that tech, it can just sweep. Generally the faster the fire rate, the higher the likelyhood of a weapon being an impact inker and benefitting from shooting the ground, though there are exceptions- for example Nautilus, Mini and Jr are fill inkers despite high fire rates, their fill is just that overkill, while Jet and Pro are both impact "inkers" that can patch up a zone from the distance at best. The best way to visualise the difference between the two types is to compare Bloblobber and Explosher, former representing fill inkers and latter- impact inkers.

If you’re a charger and you see a Booyah Bomb user, wait until they throw it and touch the ground for a bit to splat them before they can move lol very satisfying bc you’ll hear your shot hitting the armor while still getting the kill

But seriously though, as an old Herobrella main, #7, #16, & #24 will hopefully be invaluable to me in Splatoon 3 if they don't change up all the specials. I used to rock quick super jump on my brella kit to act as an incoming wall for my teammates, but now I know that I can use the ability chunks to play much safer. I can hear all the smash bros. parry sound effects in the distant future already. Thank you so much for this video ProChara.

Chara this is brilliant but I think a small a tutorial on how to do a frame perfect super jump could be great (super jump when you don’t use the map) I only discovered how last week and I think a lot of players see splatubers/pros doing it but don’t know how themselves. Great vid!
