I can personally tell you that donkeys can be mean and savage. My father-in-law would always keep a donkey amongst his cattle and live stock to keep coyotes away. They've had a few end up dead because of donkeys.

Apparently it's a thing with them. I've seen other videos of donkeys taking down hyenas the same way.

Donkeys just have an instinctive hatred to anything that resembles dogs.

Giraffe hoofs come down like sledgehammers. Their whole body conveys so much kinetic energy through them, for a devastating blow. That's why lions and other predators run off after being hit a few times.

Great thanks. I particularly love the way donkeys deal with their adversaries... us humans should follow suit and there would be less crime.

Badgers are so fearless and tenacious. The predators that seek to challenge it are thrown off by this animal's undaunted defiance. The badger has amazingly sharp teeth and claws, plus its musculature enables it to attack very low, heading right to the most vulnerable parts of the antagonist predator. Even the way the badger looks means serious business.

I got a Bassett hound when I was younger. Thought,what a cute dog. I had no idea how tough they are. They were bread to go in a badger's hole,kill,and retrieve it 😮

So explain to me the circumstances whereby a hyena is released into a donkey's enclosure, with every apparent intention of filming "something happening". That's looking very much like animal baiting to me. Where did you get the footage?

Yeah, this video was initially funny but then I started to get upset about it, and I didn't realise why. I've only heard the term "animal baiting" a few times, but now it makes sense. Lions don’t even like water. If you placed it near a river, or some sort of fresh water source, that’d make sense. But you find yourself in the ocean, a 20 ft wave, I’m assuming its off the coast of South Africa, coming up against a full, grown, 800 lb tuna with his 20 or 30 friends. You lose that battle. you lose that battle nine times out of ten!!
