This isn't an exhaustive list by any means! I tried to include significant moments representing all nations & included some amusing stuff as well! Let me know of any significant moments I missed and perhaps I can make another one before the Six Nations starts!

As a Frenchman, I distinctely recall Vincent Clerc's last minute try at Croke Park vs Ireland which helped secure the Tournament win that year. And that 55-35 defeat in Twickenham, where defenses in both teams decided to take a break.

How about a compilation of epic moments in the old 5 Nations. And I in no way mean that as a slight against Italian rugby. Would make for a tasty compilation in your more than capable hands. And show some of today's youngsters how the game used to played (remember heads up scrums?).

*2019. Even the context is nuts. It was the last game of the tournament and Wales had just hammered Ireland to win a grand slam. This was just an after-show, and yet it delivered an insane game of rugby. I heard tales of celebrating Welsh and commiserating Irish fans in pubs in Cardiff starting off ignoring this game and being utterly glued to it by the end. Here's a stat that sums it up: Scotland spent 53 seconds in England's 22, yet scored 6 tries. Less than 9 seconds per try!

I had 6 tickets to that game in the most amazing seats just above the England reserves. The morning of the game my father in law died and I had to drive down to London to give the tickets to my friends who were coming with us. Then back to the Hospital to join my grieving wife and family. There was really no need for them then to go and play one of the games of the century.

Being Irish, the grand slam kick from O'Gara will probably always be the most memorable moment of any six nations - the pure joy of it. But a couple more come to mind that aren't in here. Ireland vs England in Croke Park, Peter Stringer tap tackling Jason Robinson to stop him scoring, and a non Irish one - Wales coming from behind in the last four minutes to beat Scotland in 2010. Absolute scenes

Very good video ! I know you have to pick and choose ,for instance Ireland denying England a Grand Slam twice, Johnny Wilkinson's brilliant drop goal against Ireland in 2003 when we were shellaced by England. Two things made me feel a bit sad, Scotland not holding on to beat England 38-31, and Italy, a team 23 years in the 6N simply winning a game, and even worse having to include just about all of the handful of games they did win.

That 2010 game should be remembered for what happened to a player whose career was ended and nearly died on the field. Had that game been reffed today, the tackle on Evans would've been a straight red card. Given what was going on with Evans it is little wonder Scotland fell apart.

If including whole matches, I think you should have included whole days. Or, at least, one day in particular. Super Saturday in 2015 may never be beaten. Mathematically possible for 4 teams to take the win before anyone stepped on to a pitch. I think 27 tries were scored that day, including a couple of last minuters that rocked the boat and kept different dreams alive or in the balance. Being at Twickenham for the final match was pretty fucking special, even if we did fluff the last play that would have given us the overall win. I had so much fun that day the fact we lost the Championship just didn't phase me. Hard not to be entertained by an end to end back and forth that ends 55 - 35. It was a truly awesome day.

#12. I put £9 on Scotland at half-time. at 100/1. Cash out got as high as £750 and I held firm. I don't think I've ever felt so sick than at the end of that game.

How can any ref can possibly end the game mere moments after telling a team they had time. In a fair world he’d have told Wales he’d made a mistake and offer them to take the penalty again

The Mike Phillips try is one of the daftest bits of refereeing ever. Anyone who has played rugby above under 8s knows that you cannot take a quick throw from a ball that's been touched by someone else. Or, worse still, a different ball entirely. How did none of the on-field officials or the rest of the team not just say to the referee "mate, the ball-boy gave him a new ball"?
