I get that. however, most of what's featured here are not ppl freeing themselves bc they are all doing the same TikTok type of dancing that they saw countless others do and practiced over and over again. For example, the shuffle is present in most of these. Let me know if you spot it.

Where? I've been dying to go to one of these shows but I have absolutely nobody to go with. My husband just said it was a thing of the 90s. And he's a little bit older but, I still want to go out and just dance.

  • @kitatit

@@katyahevesy3142 It’s been a thing for 10s of thousands of years. Humans wanting to move to music will never go out of style. If you dance for yourself it shows. Nothing necessarily wrong with the “notice me” style of dancing. Just people trying to find their place in on our collective human vibration. The 90s thing your husband is taking about was special. No internet, phones, social media to feed the cult of self monster we have now. It will take a while for this over obsession with self to pass, but in the meantime, if you want to dance, get into it! If you don’t have a pack, be the pack leader! Dance by yourself for yourself. Other new friend will see it and join in. The reality you want is possible. Fiercely stake your claim for the fun you want and harmony will follow. Sometimes you have to create it yourself! Peace from Perth Australia✊🤗🤟

@@kitatit "dance by yourself, other new people will see it and join it" you are so right with that stetement.! I have done exactly like you said. I had nobody to go for party with and nobody to dance with. I began going out on my own. I was practising dancing at home by watching tutorials on KZread then I would incorporate these new moves that I learnt while dancing on dancefloor. I met a very interesting people snce then. People started magnetizing to me on dancefloor. My life has changed, because of learning dancing I don't feel loneliness on dancefloor anymore. People that I never met before approache me and give me compliments when they see me dancing. Because of dancing skills I danced with so many attracitve women. It gave me a lot of confidence. Learning dancing and being forced to go out on my own turned out to be one of the best experiences in my life. Everyone who feels lonelly or depressed should practice dancing and going out.

San Francisco, Bay Area, the raves of the late 90's and early 2000, were much different than this. Back then everyone, and I mean every body in attendance danced. There was no solo dancing or room for standing expectators .Either You dance, or the crowd moves and travels you along. In that era everyone got down dancing the night til the wee hours. To make it, you either had pacifier or a bottle of water in hand.😁 Although I never tried the candy that went around, I still had the best time ever.

There are a few electro dance styles which involve arms and hands (legs as well): Hakken, Tektonic Industrial dance, Electric boogie, Electro swing, Vouge dance (I am not 100% sure) Hip hop dance (some of the moves can be used for techno dancing the same like salsa step and top rock steps) Check them out. You might find some of them intersting for you. Never know.
