Beautifully done with Terry's melodies and riffs placed fabulously! Keeping that music alive!...and Danny, drop a line so I can tell you how much your drumming on those records means to me. We have mutuals, including the late BStratton...☮p

I have been playing guitar for 62 years, after watching this I am taking up knitting instead.

If I didnt see this with my own two eyes I wouldnt believe this was possible. This kid absolutely nails every nuance in these songs. The devil is in the details and this kid went into the details and kicked the devil square in the nuts. This is something past amazing. Loss for words here.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the greatest guitar performance ever. I've never seen anything like this before and most likely never will again. Amazing. Thanks, Kent.

It’s not even remotely close. This is by far the most challenging and well executed performances I’ve ever seen. His right hand is out of this world. I cants get enough of it, I watch it often

i went to my first Chicago concert in 1970 54 YEARS AGO guitarist have had fifty years to master Terry Kath's solo, But Kent has Mastered THE HORNS THE DRUMS THE VOCALS AND THE SOLO! Mr. Kath would be amazed! and so am I

I've been a musician for almost 40 years now and I've NEVER seen a talent like yours Kent, ever... God gave you a gift and you have not wasted a single note of it up till this point in your life and I thank you for sharing it... BRAVO!!!

Up until now, I have always thought he was right behind Alexandr Misko as the best acoustic guitarist in the world, but after this, I think he may have pushed out to the best position. Not that it matters, it's not really a competition. They are both beyond brilliant and I'm ready to bury my Les Paul in the backyard - again. LOLOL

that was almost too casual...but that is his style...making being in the zone seem like every day playing. sick.

25 or 6 to 4 contains one of the great lead guitar lines in rock history. I have seen Chicago play this live in concert about 5 times. Anyone would be proud to be able to duplicate just Terry Kath's brilliant work all by itself. To be able to play his solo note for note (with all but the wah-wah pedal), plus all the horn and rhythm section parts at the same time? Lord have mercy.

Not in my wildest imagination did I ever think anyone could cover this song. CHICAGO and Terry Kath would be soooo proud and you did it with such aplomb and personal enjoyment. Your talent,skill and taste in music are impeccable Kent sama.

Totally agree that Terry Kath would be awed and impressed. Kent replicated the intricacy of Terry's lead solo with the tonality of fingerstyle acoustic. Kudos Kent, you never cease to amaze with both your arrangements and virtuosity.

Came back to watch this for probably the 30th or 40th time. Still blown away.

The rhythm section was deep in the pocket while the rest of the band kept things moving perfectly.

Are we witnessing the world's greatest guitar player?

This is one of the most rocking songs by the best band of its time at the peak of their greatness. It should be impossible for any one musician on any one instrument to play it this well. First he perfectly evokes the really tight rhythm section, then has his guitar sing the vocal melody with just the right feel and phrasing, and with all of that going on, he still plays the guitar solos perfectly. Not just the best guitarist I've ever heard; also the best musician.

you fucking shredded it bro. the world doesnt know it yet, but this young man is one of the greatest guitar players alive right now.

Agreed - I've slowed the video down to 500 times slower and I've managed to master the first 20 notes, which covers about 1 second of real time :)

I have never even tried alternate tuning. Kent really makes "I have never even tried" feel like a boulder chained around my neck and soul.

I can't understand how he managed to play the guitar solos almost note for note while keeping the rhythm and drum beat going, beautiful playing.

I graduated HS in '73...Loved this song!!!! Great job!!!!

The only other time I remember being blown away like this was when I played Van Halen 1 the first time and Eruption came on. That was the moment for every guitar player where they think this just can’t be possible. How is he doing that. I felt that feeling again today.

that's crazy you can play that on one guitar, if you weren't watching it you'd swear that's two guitars playing - very impressive, boy gotz skillz.........

Think about it, this guy is literally, better than a one in a billion talent. How many people on the planet possess this level of precision and capability on the guitar? Answer 1, Kent. The even crazier part, he keeps getting better.

I’ve watched this video probably 100 times and it still amazes me..

Truly one of the most outstanding guitar players in the world.

The guy is unstoppable. There is NO song out of his reach.

I've been around hundreds (maybe thousands) of guitarists (some VERY famous) and have never seen anything better than this. Keep up the work Kent san.

The only thing that set Kent from other fingerstyle artists today is the composing part since everyone of them can slap, do harmonics, etc. The kid knows what sounds good without sacrificing the technique and the essence of the song.

This is just amazing. Just the fact that he even took on this song is f'ing brilliant....

Things I love about this, besides what everyone else has said about how completely brilliant it is: the chord voicings are completely unique even though true to the song! And, how you captured the horn section with such a signature guitar sound!

With his unbelieveable skill & choice of songs, i still cannot believe he only have 239k subs.

Kent's playing has gone beyond insane levels. That was just mind blowing!!

Being 67 years old, I feel the guitar world is in great hands with Kent, Matias Mancuso others I've discovered on KZread. When you all turn the ear of Steve Vai, Al Di Meola, Guthrie Govan, it's amazing. I'll be back for more
