One word of note that Celebrity does so well is wedding renewals. We had our renewals in Sept. on the Edge. The staff went above what was requested and it certainly wasn't cookie cutter. They even placed all the floral arrangements after the ceremony at the venue in our cabin. The photographer took so many photos of us all over the ship. We will never forget this voyage. The way the renewal was handled made such a positive and everlasting statement. We look forward to sailing on Celebrity Edge class ships again.

I got engaged on the Edge and the staff was absolutely amazing and went out of their way to make it perfectly planned out proposal. She never saw it coming and I returned to my cabin decorated with rose peddles everywhere and they had champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. I didn't even request it. They went out of their way to make things extra special for the occasion. On the downside, I had booked a trip with Royal, expecting the same level of service, and was extremally disappointed. We ended up having to do the ceremony on the island vs on the ship, they simply refused to work with us. I will be loyal to Celebrity from now on, lesson learned.

@@davidrojas8887 That's how we feel. They had a huge cake for us and a full bouquet...neither of which we ordered. Everything was perfect. My husband said that this is his favorite line now. Unfortuantly, we have to wait until 2025 to book on her again because we are cruisers who book so far in advanced and booked other lines for 2023 and 2024 before this amazing experience.

We saved £250 by going through our regular travel agent compared to the direct price quote from Celebrity and Two BIG TIPs... unless you're a big drinker (or rich), don't bother with the Premium drinks package. If you're on the standard package and fancy an odd expensive tipple, unless it's changed, Celebrity just charge the price difference to your account. Secondly, anything you book and pay for on board comes with the standard service charge. It pays to book excursions, speciality dining and other extras before you sail. There are pre cruise discounts and you avoid the service charge. Keep an eye for Celebrity extra discount offers. We saved 25% on a wine/food pairing experience during the last one over Easter

Celebrity is my preferred line for years and it’s nice getting Cafe al Baccio included at Captains Club Elite plus level. I’ve been on the Edge twice and on the Apex in Europe last summer. Not a fan of the infinite verandas personally. Retreat suites all come with large regular balconies. Retreat facilities are absolutely magnificent but they are priced accordingly. It’s now a huge jump in price for a sky suite at least on the Edge class but makes a great splurge. Regardless of stateroom type, service everywhere is outstanding. Your Celebrity reviews are excellent and reflect my experiences.

I love your videos! It was because of you that I chose Celebrity for my first cruise a few months ago. I had such a great time that my husband and I are going on a transatlantic Celebrity cruise in April from Miami to London. I’m hooked. 😊

My wife and I went on our very first cruise in july 2022 - on the Beyond. It was amazing, and we loved it. In fact we loved it so much that we were hesitant to book with another cruise ship in fear of being disappointed. So we have now booked a cruise next august on the Ascent , and we are very much looking forward to it 🙂

Also, some fun tips I found before my first cruise… The walls are all made of metal, take magnets to stick your notes, shore excursion tickets, and any other reminders on the wall! We also took liquid chalk pens to write on the mirrors notes to each other in passing as there was no phone reception onboard and you would easily loose your cabin mate if you weren’t with them always! We had also discussed taking walkie talkies on future trips as they could be used both on board and off during shore excursions to stay in contact with your friend/group!

Good tips re: Infinite Veranda rooms - I've heard such mixed reviews about these rooms, but these tips will help to quash some of the concerns that I'm sure people will have!

I have done 6 Alaska cruises. I am from Canada also. It really isnt as cold as you might think. I have been there in May and had days in the 70 f. Range. I take a puffer jacket and mini gloves to use at the glacier and wear sketchers and have never had wet feet. If you go to Skagway take the White Pass train ride the story and the scenery are awesome. Enjoy it has a peaceful feeling that you have to experience and will never forget!

Hi There, I love ordering room service on my cruises. I call it my pre-breakfast and then we go to the main dining room for real breakfast. Love it! We leave on the Celebrity Beyond on Nov 13/2023 and we are soooo excited. Never done Celebrity before!!! Thanks for the great content. This is so helpful.

Great video Illana. Celebrity is our go to cruise line. We were on the Edge in November. We have found the service usually amazing. We have been choosing a sky suite near the aft elevator. You are right about the long hallways with only two elevators. The Retreat definitely worth the extra cost of a suite. The service was awesome and most days it was not to crowded. Also, the specialty restaurants we have found are worth trying once or twice per cruise. You are absolutely right about having the app on your phone. We used it for temp control light control and even opening the curtains in the morning. Lastly, breakfast in our cabin on our balcony is maybe one of my favorite things on a cruise. The scenery and peacefulness are awesome. We did not have a fee on our cruise. It would not deter me on any future cruises. Happy cruising to all.

I recently spent a 12 cruise on Celebrity Edge. It was wonderful! The activities kept us busy all day and the energy of the staff was amazing. We had a concierge class accessible room with the infinite veranda and we loved it.

We were on Celebrity Beyond last June and it was amazing!! By far the best cruise ship we have cruised and they literally went way BEYOND our expectations! We had the infinite veranda and absolutely loved it!! Also, loved the spa! Going on Equinox next, let's hope it's as wonderful as the Beyond!!

The towels and fruit water is one of the special items I love about Celebrity. The other is having the little hand towels in all the public washrooms.

We were on Celebrity summer of ‘22, when Europe was getting hammered with heat waves. Those towels and water upon excursion return was heaven! Such a simple and thoughtful touch.

TA recommendations - yes please!

Like most things, everything has it’s pluses and minuses. I really liked the continuous view of the ocean with the Infinity. We never closed the blinds, day or night. But, it still not quite as open a feeling as a regular balcony. So in warmer climates like the Caribbean or Mediterranean we would prefer the regular balcony. In cooler climates, like the Baltic or Atlantic, we would prefer the Infinity.

Great video - your enthusiasm really shines through. We've done lots of Cunard cruises but feel its time for a change. Didn't fancy RC or Carnival (too old maybe?). Definitely have Celebrity ships in our range now. Many thanks for the tips.

My first ever cruise was on Apex on New Year’s Eve itenarary and I’m absolutely blown by the ship and it’s organization. I will be sticking to this line for now- 😀😀

Your videos are absolutely wonderful! We love Celebrity. Just completed our 14th last month on Equinox. Honestly not a fan of the infinity balcony however the cabins are beautiful. We may give it another try as we did enjoy the Edge class ship over all. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Hi, we have now cruised on all the solstice class ships prior to covid. We are now booked and leaving at the end of March for the second time on the equinox. I have always liked celebrity I hope that I don't see to many changes. On the last cruise before covid I did notice fewer servers around pool area so service was slower. Can't wait to cruise again, have a great day

Nice review. We have 2 cruises booked on Beyond.. Jan 2024 Southern Carib, and Feb 2025 Eastern Carib. We love the Retreat Suites and all ammenities that are included. Agree with the Retreat sundeck and Liminae as excellent perks. We always book on cruise as well. Just a caution about the Magic Carpet Cabins as frequently have obstructed views. Thanks for ramping up our cruise fever! :)

I have been binging your channel for 7 months now to prepare for a family reunion cruise on Celebrity Reflection. I bought everything from magnets to travel bags and Everything!!! Was a wonderful time. We lived for Cafe al Baccio as that was always are meeting place. We went Aqua Class and never even went to the spa and I wasn't thrilled with the restaurant Blu but was still able to order food from the main dining room. Thankyou for all of your research and for having me prepared for any emergency.

Fabulous video and congratulations on 100k subscribers. I love this channel. You helped so much since it had been 6 years since my last cruise. My tip: make sure celebrity knows about your special occasion. For my daugters birthday she was invited to the helipad to watch us leave Port. Also, the hotel manager sent an assortment of cakes and goodies and a bottle of champagne to the room. We wrote thank you notes. And she got to thank him in person as we left the ship. He gave her a big hug and was so touched by the note.

I can't comment on Celebrity Cruises as we have not been on one, but just wanted to say I found your channel last week and have enjoyed them very much! We've got two Carnival trips planned for this year and even though we have been cruising since 1992, they are still fun to watch and learn from. Thanks for the videos!!!

Room service balcony breakfast is a must for me now. Even with the service charge.

Booked the Apex for February 2024. Veranda cabin, $1400 pp. $325 on board credit, wifi, classic drink package, prepaid gratuities, $100 post cruise gift card.

All sounds great but would definitely have to upgrade the drink package to include soft drinks,also upgrade the Wi-Fi. The other information was great to hear though.Thanks so much.

Thanks Ilana! We just returned from a 10 night cruise on the Silhouette out of Miami. We had a great time, but we did notice Celebrity cutting some corners over previous cruises. Like you mentioned, dinner in the buffet was a nonstarter for us. We were tired after a 6 hour active excursion and decided we didn't want the production of the dining room. Our cruise planner said dinner was being served until 9pm in the buffet. We arrived at 820pm to a barren selection. None of the items served in the dining room were available. The pasta station was closed. The Indian selections were gone. You couldn't make a sandwich or even get a burger or hot dog. All that was available was pizza, one pot of roasted potatoes, and a few bbq ribs. The salad bar was set up, but depleted. They had lots of bread, but nothing to put on it or eat it with. It was shocking. A number of cruisers were wandering around the buffet looking confused. I guess they want you to pay the $10 for room service? Speaking of which, we ordered once from an extremely limited selection and our food arrived cold and unappetizing. And, they failed to deliver free continental breakfast on the one occasion we ordered it in advance of an early morning excursion. So, quite disappointed with these aspects of dining and certainly not indicative of the premium experience they market. However, our dining room waiters were outstanding throughout the cruise and made great recommendations as to what looked best each evening. We also enjoyed some of the best excursions we've ever had on a cruise. And, like you, we were delighted that Celebrity continues to have twice daily housekeeping with the little chocolates on the pillow. Our room was kept spotless and our ice bucket full by our fantastic steward Francisco!

How funny, We are going on the same trip in 2weeks, thanks for the info! Would you mind sharing a few tips about which ports we could just walk around town, explore beaches, nature ourselves? ( hubby does not mingle:-) Most excursions sold out so I'm booking some on Viator. Anything you would recommend for an active family please? Really great video Ilana. I'm just back from a West Caribbean cruise on the Apex and think that the tips and information you provide are right on. I would note that I saw lots of people in shorts for breakfast in Blu - think the dress code is really only "enforced" in the MDR and other places for dinner. The internet service with Starlink was a huge improvement from my previous cruises. I think the charge for room service delivery is a shame but not a showstopper for me - I did enjoy a few room service meals with a traditional balcony on the Eclipse last year but thought it was less important or well-suited for the IV rooms (IMHO). I have also really enjoyed having breakfast in the MDR or Blu. Keep up the great work!

I’ve never been on a Celebrity cruise but from your video the decor looks industrial. It makes Viking look elaborate in comparison! The dining room with rectangular tables in a line looked like a cafeteria. I hope it’s just the times of day or angles taken of your videos that it looks better in real life. 18:41

You should probably take another look. Nothing about Celebrity is "industrial ". Modern elegance, beautiful lush design with real trees and plants in Eden and the top deck. Far from a cafeteria look.😂

Cruising is vacation time! The atmosphere should be casual and relaxed. CHILL and no stress including dress!

I love Celebrity and have been on 6 cruises. I like the new ships and infinite verandas. It it almost like a Florida Room. It is nice to sit out there even closed window if it raining take in the view. The downside is the blinds and the window are very slow and noisy.

A video about travel agents would be very helpful.

Great video. I sail with Celebrity at least twice a year. On my last cruise I booked a future crusie as soon as I boarded the ship. The best perk was receving $650.00 of ship board credit. If I booked on their website I would have received $50.00.

This is my second trip on Celebrity Summit. I'm excited to see the new renovation.

Going in reflection in June to Greek islands

We went for my first time on a cruise last December Holiday on Equinox and it was magic!!! We already booked Eclipse for this December holidays and Infinity for next year!!!!
