NFS The Run is so underrated. For me it has great story despite it's not so complicated story. Beautiful graphics. İt always gives me great feeling of driving.

I have a pretty big backlog of games for the PS3/X360, and many of those are racing games. I never seem to find "the right time" (if there even is such a thing) to dive in and start playing them, but videos like this always make me interested again. The downside is that it also makes me think of even more old games to buy... 😅

Haha, I’d recommend just getting a decent pc then you can get all those old games including every old consoles games on it for free using an easy emulator

Motorstorm for me personally, is the best racer, I’ve ever played. Even on the psp Motorstorm is absolutely fun to play.

burnout paradise was the first game i started on ps3 and i was already hooked on the test drive i played at the store. I still play on ps5 occasionally

PS3 (and 360 also) got some of the most impressive and adrenaline-rush games ever made...Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Split Second: Velocity, Wipeout HD/Fury , Ridge Racer 6 and 7 !!! I miss those games...

So many great games in here. The ordering of them are quite odd I must say lol, but I understand it's your opinion. I wish we could get this many quality racing games nowadays as well. It's sad that we only get so few racers now

The racing genre is declining I think since nowadays it's all about open world RPGs or battle royales, some genres didn't survive I guess.

Midnight club la was so nostalgic on xbox 360 I won't forget the time you had the ability to buy cars from players online and sell it for a crazy amount of money

Motorstorm RC also comes to mind, as well as countless others. The NFS games were multitudinous on the platform.

My PS3 is plugged in just to play Motorstorm and Pacific Rift. All the other titles have had releases on more modern platforms that are simply better, including Wipeout. Nothing has come close to matching Motorstorm on any platform, its the one game on PS3 that you cannot get the experience anywhere else, and one of the few reasons to continue using a PS3. I have a 3090 pc, series X, switch and two PS5s, but when friends came over this Saturday, its Motorstorm 'pass the controller' that got played.

You can play the Motorstorm series on your 3090 PC. Have been playing them on my laptop and reliving the old launch PS3 memories of Motorstorm and Monument Valley! Use RPCS3-its a pretty straightforward process and if your 3090 is also coupled with at least a 8thread CPU, you may even be able to play it at 60 fps!

Sonic and Sega All Star Racing was very underrated. Although Transformed was better in nearly every conceivable way, it still should be represented on any top racing list IMO.

Blur and Split Second was released in the same month, very good

Split second its a Disney racing game.. I'm Shocked about that game. It's impressive how Disney can make games.

Initial D was my favorite PS3 racing game, but it was an import. I love that the PS3 is region free and a lot of the game was in English so it was easy to play.

MotorStorm apocalypse was great but received many backlash because of 3 things which leads to it getting killed 1 the 2011 Japan tsunami, it happened months before it got released which got to it getting cancelled in Japan 2 the PSN hack at the time the game got released PSN was hacked and you couldn't connect at all 3 MotorStorm RC after apocalypse they gave themselves one last chance which leads to the creation of MotorStorm RC. Many fans hated it

Como grande parte de jogos de corrida do ps3, as vezes a precisão do controle do ps3 é o maior adversário no jogo. Quando se joga jogos similares do PS3 que também tem no PC, se vê o quanto o controle do ps3 é impreciso, difícil manter uma trajetória. Jogos que tem similares do ps3 no pc, jogo todos no pc com controle de Xbox. Além de ter a possibilidade de colocar gráficos melhores em 1080P em minha TV, a maioria dos jogos de ps3 é no máximo 720.

Splitting Wipeout in two was unnecessary. Similarly it feels like a cop-out to include two Codemasters F1 titles, which with their adherence to F1 seasons are technically the same, when instead could have included Sony own F1 Championship Edition or Motorstorm Apocalypse, two terrific games. Similarly Pacific Rift, All Star Racing Transformed, and even Pure are way too low on the list. We get it- you like Codemasters games but Dirt 3 wasn’t better than 2 and NFS Most Wanted should not have been a top 5 game.
