Using weights doesn’t increase hand speed by that much if at all. It gives you the illusion of it because when the weight comes off you feel more free to move. But really it just builds endurance a bit more and also slows your hands down so you can focus on form rather than just throwing hands as fast as possible. The only way to reall increase hand speed is to start slow and throw your jab or whatever punch you want to work on. And increase its speed fractionally every time your throw the punch. You go untill you start to slow down rather than speed up. Then your repeat this every workoutx

Look for the breakdown on Rock Lee's training weights, and you'll find that no, it does not, in fact, make a difference when you take them off. You should stick to 10-12oz gloves strictly for the padding and extra support, not for punching faster w/o gloves. If you want a weightless experience, use muay thai rope wrap techniques

Basics of humans, instead of wanting to be faster through some gimmick why not train speed. You train power by musclular activation in sequence from your big to to your knuckles. To train speed you need that activation to be faster. Weights will not improve your speed as much as the power your using. If I know I need to move my foot, leg, hip, arm and wrist to throw a punch what I wouldnt do is forcus on the punch but every part of movement which makes the punch. If your foot twists a little faster, your hips rotate a little more, ect you will not only find better speed but more power as well. Think of it like a whip, a whip's tip can break the speed of sound but it isnt because the tip is heavier or because it trained to be faster but because the whole length of the whip is in motion adding more force and momentum to the tip just like throwing a punch your whole body moves to give power and speed to your punch. Finally a way to artificially increase your speed is to increase your reaction window increasing the speed of your perception or lowing the time it takes to react may not make you faster per se however it will cause you to feel faster for both you and your opponent. The body has an intresting messure to make sure that it cannot over exert and injure itself. In the case of gloves hand injuries are more likely due to the subconscious thought of your hands being protected allowing your body to punch harder and faster. If you learn to control every part of your body as if your simply breathing air you will find many ways to increase your speed. Weather that be adding more joints to the attack or by finding a more efficient way of attacking. Finally speed is a terrible thing to train because while your speed may allow you to land more shots around a guard people tend to match the speed of their surroundings especially when in an intense situation. Rather if you work on speed control and timing you can be as slow as you like while still landing the shots. If you control the flow or speed of the fight than your more likely to win. There is an exercise that shows how gard it is to dodge an attack that starts slow but speeds up unpredictably. P.S. I hope you all have a fantastic day and stay safe.

24oz is tiny but people gotta start somewhere. I started with canned food, then built up to half gallon milk jugs, then full milk jugs, then weights. I use between 5lbs-40lbs dumbell weights in my hands depending on the punch, form, and time alloted. Rotate the weights and keep controlled form. Steadily ramp up your weight until comfortable exhaustion. Only train to failure 16% of the time. Do every motion you can possibly do to work out EVERY muscle in your arm. Once you hit comfortable exhaustion start counting back down. Do compound exercises and train footwork in an adjustable weighted vest. Keep your arms up with the weights and do weighted steps while punching with weights.

I prefer to use 16oz with resistance bands and 5kg weights a side while punching a bag and my punches are quite fast other than I have crap accuracy and very likely to knock myself and when I pull my fist in after a punch
I was about to say. Boxing gloves are all you need fr. Over time your arms be dead but after you take them off 😂
Nice ad 👏
🔥🔥🔥
These the gloves Mike Tyson n Jake Paul finna wear
I have a pair of 24oz gloves, not sure they helped much but time will tell
was just wondering if these things existed the other day, good to know. can stop the old school soaking in water 🤣
Lmfao it’s proven that weight doesn’t help you hit faster but okay
@TheGenericAssasin

Heard it actually slows you down a bit because you start overrecruting arm muscles to hold the extra weight up.

@@TheGenericAssasin thats EXACTLY what I experienced with training with 18 o gloves for 4 months ...I bought them thinking it would make me a speed demon ..it made my punching emchanics weird and you get adapted to that weight and actually end up punching even slower ..I even left a comment here
They have weighted gloves too 😅
Hit n move are a good penny but your saving a ton of money compared to winning gloves. Had a match after training with hit n move put on 14oz for my fight. I felt like i was cheating hands were so fast.😂😂

You used these exact ones ?
The bast way to punch faster and harder is punching everyday, for hour, improving footwork and body response.
Can use them on sparring?? Not to hard
The "ring to cage" brand has 50oz gloves, i have 2 pairs and they feel amazing, i love them better than my cleto reyes gloves.

I use 24oz gloves so I can punch harder and not hurt my hands. You can train longer.
Thanks! My grandma didn’t stand a chance
Don’t want to be a pooper, but I washed my 14oz this week. Took them to the bag and they were heavy! Got them on the scales when I got back and they were 22oz each just for being damp 😂.
Only 24 might consider getting but need soemthing a little heavier
Higher oz gloves is just shadow boxing w weights 💀
Great advertising, hope y’all get successful in the. Business

Big belly works too so long as u can ditch it
Look for the breakdown on Rock Lee's training weights, and you'll find that no, it does not, in fact, make a difference when you take them off. You should stick to 10-12oz gloves strictly for the padding and extra support, not for punching faster w/o gloves. If you want a weightless experience, use muay thai rope wrap techniques
nah cuz tell me those heavy ass gloves arent some murder gloves lmfao, the sound of each hit LMAO, thats a jaw remover right there, cte placer
Niceee. I have 34oz. And amazon has 50!.
So if Usain Bolt wore heavier shoes he'd have been faster?

Confusing speed with muscle endurance. Sprinters don’t get faster sprinting with body weights. You get faster do speed drills.
230 Dollars for boxing gloves that you will never except for that one purpose is just a waste of money. Save you’re money and just use resistance bands or shadow boxing with weights.
Egg weights?
Those will cause more injuries in the long run.

You’ll have to explain that one
So it's a 12oz glove 😅
HeaVier gloves wont make your hands?faster, you are just faster with smaller gloves, Bigger gloves are for protection😊
Those are expensive. I would rather buy Reyes gloves.
Tired from putting weights in hand. Put weights on hand instead
🤣🤣cmon now
Guaranteed to make you punch slower with worse technique. Old school mitts are best for this

Make you punch slower 😂
Keep your arms up with the weights and do weighted steps while punching with weights.
they the same glove
Or just do plyometrics
it aint worth it for 250
This sounds like something that’s pointless
Ohhh, idk, practice with bands and weights and focus on speed consistently....? You aren't gonna see results in 2 days bro...
