This guy… he is making the torch from a bellows. Where he welds the ingot instead of recasting it because if the cost of the fuel and the hassle. Hand rolling the rod , hard tedious work. Much respect for the men of this world who do it the hard way.

Wow.its beautiful!what skill.

In my opinion this seems like it’s a lot more gold than the amount he started with. I wish he would scale the finished product to prove it weighs the same or almost the same. Because first off, 24k gold is soft. The ingots he was hammering looked pretty hard compared to 24k gold which easily gets dented and bent. My guess is that he added other metal to the pure gold during one of the un-filmed sections of the beginning of the video. Just my opinion.
