he is using a day and night scope,,it is a different kind of scope, it has a rubberize eyepiece that protects the eye, so the recoil of the gun is not a problem,,the rubberize eyepiece measured approx 3 inches before the metal frame of the scope,,

M16A1, M16A2 ba gamit nila? cal. 5.56 gen 1 N. vision rifle scope. alam ko malakas yan pero mas ok ang bolt action rifle gaya ng winchester model 70, remington m700 or ano man na design for sniping talaga? yung 303, 306 or 308 cal. rifles. 5.56 effective range is 500 to 600 yards lang. higher kung magaling yung gumagamit.

The rifle you saw is MSSR or Marine Scout Sniper Rifle which is a variant of the AR15 family that chambers 5.56 NATO round. And is all Filipino made. Those sniper rifle you mentioned are also being actively used in the military. MSSR is the most suitable weapon system in this scenario because engagements are less than 500 yards and its semi-automatic for quick target acquisition unlike its bolt action counterpart.

CK Amor well you have a point. It just that I'm a bit more fan of bolt action rifles for sniping. 556 or 223 is a good round but for my opinion I would prefer a lil' bit bigger round. and also it's good to know that is a Filipino made. One question though what company or manifatture make it? and is it available to civilian market?

Lone Encom I'm also not a fan of 5.56 being used as a sniper round. But in Philippine scenario, combats are usually close to mid range even in the jungle. The main reason behind why the AFP developed the MSSR is because of the soldiers familiarity with the M16a1 (same reason with the USMC's M110), economical to use, lightweight, versatile and semi automatic. With right skills and judgement of our soldiers, the MSSR is just as deadly as the m14 or any 7.62 bolt action rifles. Unfortunately, MSSR is exclusive for the AFP only.

Hindi yan jungle warfare urban warfare yan useless ghillie suit jan

palagay ko hindi sniper vs. sniper kundi Designated Marksman(DM) vs. DM or sniper ng kalaban. Yong naipakitang rifle with scope ng isang marine trooper ay parang sa 5.56 caliber din hindi sniper rifle like barret and other rifle which has effective range of 1000 km and above.

Sa urban combat hindi mo kailangan ng sobra lakas n baril ksi madalas ung range of engagement ag nsa 600 to 850 yard max pag close quarter combat kya 5.56 ay sapat na kya hinabaan nila ung barel o tubo ung 5.56 max range nya sa assault rifle ay 300 to 350 yards 18 to 19 inch barrel lng gamit nila gamitan mo ng 30inch barel ma extend mo range 5.56 n bla hangang 400 to 450 yard eh gamit nila 7.62x39 n bla tapos 30 inch barel pde na pang 1000yard shot un dipende n sa galing ng sundalo eh notorious marksman pa naman mga pinoy.

REITERATION OF MNLF's POSITION ON THE ZAMBOANGA SIEGE By: John R. Petalcorin, MNLF Director for Communication We would like to reiterate (since December 2013) that MNLF officially denies participation in that infamous chaos in Zamboanga City of September 2013. Please be informed that MNLF Cmdr Habier Malik, MNLF Leader Nur Misuari, and all members of the Genuine MNLF are not participants in that chaos in Zamboanga City of September 2013. This denial is based on the result of MNLF's internal affairs field investigation. That chaos in Zamboanga City of Sept 2013 was just a False Flag Operation by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (a revenge of Gen. Emmanuel T. Bautista whose father then Gen. Teodulfo Bautista died under the weapon of the MNLF in 1977) to smear dirt on the face of MNLF and a cover-up to the extra-judicial forced eviction by the Local Government of Zamboanga City led by Mayor Ma. Isabelle "Bheng" Climaco-Salazar (under the supervision of DILG Sec. Mar Roxas of the President Benigno S. Aquino administration) against the poor, defenseless, helpless, marginalized Badjao minorities and members of the Indigenous Peoples. The alleged rogue MNLF commanders Assamin Hussin and Bas Arki who allegedly started the trouble are not in the membership record of the MNLF. The alleged leader of the alleged rogue MNLF in the middle of the chaos Cmdr Habier Malik was not in the vicinity all throughout the chaos. The PMAer who died in the middle of the chaos was wearing MNLF uniform on the time of his death. Army officer assigned in 53th Engineering Battalion based in headquarter of Philippine Army (PA) was caught red-handed in manufacturing counterfeit MNLF uniforms in Jetson Tailoring Zamboanga City. The assassination of Zamboanga City Judge Reynerio Estancia Sr on 28 Feb 2014 is related to the cover-up of this False Flag Operation. Our pretext interview with survivors close to the late Judge disclosed that the last official transaction of the Judge was he refused to issue a Warrant of Arrest against Nur Misuari because the applicants of the warrant have not presented any evidence that is required to substantiate the allegation against Nur Misuari. The government military has Martial-Law-type full control over Zamboanga City during that period of assassination. Our field investigation result shows no genuine MNLF was hurt, injured, killed, or arrested in that inhumane government operation. The MNLF condemns the inhumane uprooting incident in Zamboanga City of Sept 2013. While we (MNLF) supports the petition of the people who wish to return to their residences where they were uprooted, the parties who have grabbed their land are still using the same recycled (MNLF-themed) scare tactics to justify militarization of Zamboanga City and prevent the return of the minorities to their original residences. Only Mayor Bheng Climaco "celebrates" the anniversary of infamous Zamboanga mass uprooting because she is the one who happily and substantially gains from grabbing the lands. We (MNLF) have monitored the internet and it appears nobody knows where Nur Misuari is since he was put on "whereabouts unknown" status since September 2013. Nur Misuari is not hiding from the law; he is just complying to security orders of high-level MNLF official because his life is in imminent danger from assassination. Nobody have seen the much-talk-about warrant of arrest for Nur Misuari. As of today, more than a year after the chaos, the Court of Justice is still trying to determine the schedule and venue where evidences and witnesses on the allegations against MNLF can be formally presented to the Court. The court has sent subpoena to the members of the mainstream media that published reference-less allegations and accusations against Misuari to present their references and evidence, and they responded to the court saying that they cannot be obliged to testify on their publications. Read the news, "DOJ: Zambo siege suspects tortured". Fifty-nine (59) detainees in relation to the Sept 2013 Zamboanga siege had their "genitals staples, heads wrapped in plastic bags, forced to confess participation in the attack and membership in the Misuari-led Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF)". The policemen under the administration of mayor Isabelle "Bheng" Climaco-Salazar, DILG Sec. Mar Roxas, and President Benigno S. Aquino are desperately resorting to torture to witch-hunt for evidence against Misuari/MNLF. We, MNLFs, have consistently maintained a position (since the beginning) that we have nothing to do with the incident and we will internally investigate the accusations. After extensive investigation, we concluded that MNLF has no involvement in that chaos, that there is no moral justification on the means and ends of that chaos, and we condemn the incident. Please don't be misled by our opponent's propaganda against us that they publish in mainstream media. be aware that there is a public's access to the declassified top secret info from behind closed doors of MNLF, and it is through the Facebook page titled "Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF)" at /OneMNLF. Jarrold Pastores Yun na nga ang problema eh, dapat nagiging standard na siya kahit sa mga hindi elite. Nakakaawa talaga tayo, pati M16 gingawang sniper rifle. Hindi naman kasi talaga ideal ang M16 sa pagdevelop ng sniper. 5.56 ang bala ng M16, 7.62 naman ang ibang sniper rifle tulad ng M14, na lubhang mas epektib. Hindi kasi ganun kalayo ang range at hindi rin ganun kataas ang accuracy kung ikukumpara sa ibang sniper rifle, kaya lugi talaga tayo, lalo na't jungle warfare pa kadalasan ang operations natin na nangangailangan ng mas magagandang baril.

+MrIntelligentdesign sa mga kastila kasi npaka duwag ninyo kaya luzon at visayas nabinyagan ng kristyano kasi di nyo kinaya ang mananakop ,, kami sa mindanao lumaban kaming mga muslim kaya kami ang nanatiling muslim kayu wala kau nagawa ngaun ung mga kapwa mong kristyano napapad sa mindanao sila pa ang nang aangkin ng hindi kanilang lupa ,, tapos mag papadala ung goberno nyo ng mga sundalo para pag papatayin kami unti unti kau pa nag paparatang na teroresta kami samantala kau ang mananakop sa kapwa nyo bakit taga mindanao lang ba kaya nyong labanan ,, pag dating sa ibang lahi nga nga kau ung china na sinakop na ang lupa kuno ng pilipinas di nyo kaya kaming mga muslim pinag iinitan nyo mga puta kau ..
