Great stuff. I recall the draft, I'm 5 hours ahead of EST. Saw Mesar taken at 26 when I thought they may take Beck, then went to bed before the last 6 first round picks. Figured Beck would be gone. Woke the next day and saw he was still on the board. But, fell in the "need" trap that you talk your self out of the rest of the year and thought Chesley, Luneau or Warren would be the selection. Very happy they took Beck.

Another awesome interview. I love this podcast. Always the best guests and no commercials or overhyping La Cage or matrix home fitness lol. And Knuckles is so humble and fun to watch. I really liked the details Gorton shared about the MSL speech. I think it’s the first time anyone publicly elaborated on the speech. We always heard it was a great speech but I never knew about the finer details.

Best "Gettin Off The Bus Guy" -- Lucic. Best NHL bargain contract-- Rem Pitlick. Best hockey podcast -- you're lookin' at it. Honestly, if the Hockey Hall of Fame ever decides to include podcasters fo consideration, Knucks is a shoo-in. The only complaint I might have about his podcasts is that they're too short!😀

I like Dave Brown but I lost a little respect for him because he had to of known that he had an unfair advantage. He lost a little bit of honor by taking Knuckles on like that. As leery as you were of him I think he came out without a jersey because he was leery of you. Sorry but I think that was deliberate. Hindsight is 20/20 but knuckles should of took off his jersey too. It shows how tough and the reputation Knuckles had that a Dave Brown came out to fight him without his jersey on. Sorry but I don't buy his story that he was unaware that he didn't have it on. Hats off to Knuckles for taking him on the way . Knuckles is a cerebral fighter 💪 and I like that way you backed up plotting how he was going to fight Brown . When your opponent is bigger and presents an unfair advantage the smaller fighter has to be two moves ahead and Knuckles was damn good at that and in my opinion is why he always did good 👍 in his fights. Hats off 👏 Knuckles.. PS.. Best podcast around .. As someone who loves the game of hockey I love hearing those stories about the off ice activities. 👏 👏 👏 👏
