Ive only recently started watching these videos of Claires. There seems to be a common thread of inspiration and encouragement that people get from watching. I watch a lot of channels like Claires as well as camping equipment reviews. Claires are best film, best reviews and mostly inspiring. Thats what its all about 😊

I've just returned home today from an amazing month long adventure in the Scottish Highlands. You've been such an inspiration. Thank you.

@@ianmillar1139 I've just spent the day around the Scottish borders and they are hellish at the moment. Looked up and there was a massive cloud of them gathering above me. That was quite inland though, stick to the coasts and the wind sees them off.

Nothing better than a lake or deep stream to jump in on a hot day, getting that close to nature does something good to your heart 👍🏽😁♥️⛺️

I admire the bravery of solo campers - it's a journey of self-discovery and self-reliance.

The UK benefits from the Gulf Stream that carries warm water from the Carribean and thereby keeps the UK far warmer in winter than its northerly latitude would otherwise indicate. The downside is summer humidity, which makes even a vaguely mild day feel stifling. When Roman legions came to Britain they had to cut the normal length of a day's march from 50km to 30km simply because of the humidity. So while in California a 30 Celsius day is delightful, in the UK a 20 Celsius day can feel "too hot" due to the wet bulb effect.

Last night I wild camped alone for the first time and had a magical time, thanks to your videos for helping me find the confidence! 😊

A great ground sheet option is to buy a cheap second hand ex military bivvy bag and cut it open.then make one the size you require.

We should be the one's saying thank you for sharing your adventures with us. Your videos really capture the true feeling of being out in the wild. Thats something that many on here dont do. Keep the great content coming and thank you for sharing 🙏

I was running behind on my work, and saw your video. Well now, i am further behind but smiling. Beautiful scenery. The good part about working for yourself is that no one yells at you when you miss deadlines. I put deadlines on every day work, today I really had to work hard to make them

Hey! Have you ever heard of a thermocell??? They are a bug repelling unit that burns a small amount of butane to heat up a citronella pad. The pads I have are blue when They are fresh and white when they are burnt out. The thing works wonderfully if there's not a lot of wind and the unit is lightweight.

Hi, Claire have you tried using a product called Bushmans tropical strength. Its a fantastic insect repellant 40%DEET. Works against ticks and leeches. Comes in a tube like a gel. Also if you spray your ground sheet with pyrethrum before packing (and your tent entrance), that will further keep them off you. Just a thought 🤔

Re: groundsheet - I use a b&q ultra cheap plastic shower curtain cut to the shape of my tent, weights basically nothing and cost a couple.of quid compared to a £50 "official" footprint. You could definitely cut another square of it to use as a sit-mat

That tent looks huge once all the gei lines are tight. I always feel happy and relaxed with your adventures. 😊

Melting at 18C, you sound like me! I always say that if it never, ever got above 70F you wouldn’t hear a single word of complaint from me LOL. I’d still take the top & doors off my Jeep for the summer, though! But winter is definitely my favorite season, I get as excited about snowfall now as I did when school got canceled due to snow when I was a kid 😂

I love the little details you catch such as an ant carrying a crumb, I hope you paid the ant a crumb to star in your video ? Also your use of tech is cool. Drones and cameras seem to feature so seamlessly. Well done should be a TV show.
