24 Hours in San Jose | San Jose Costa Rica Walking Tour

We're starting our babymoon in San Jose, Costa Rica!
One of the things we love to do when we first get to a new city is to check out a free walking tour. Many cities offer them, and it's just a great way to get a local's perspective on the things to see in San Jose! So with our 24 hours in San Jose we decided to go on a san jose walking tour and then check out the Mercado Central for lunch. IT WAS DELICIOUS.

Illustrious...great word... Templo de la Musica...pretty itty bitty music locale. But yes, MUCH better weather than ChiTown right now! And SO cool that Costa Rica is demilitarized, that it can find its place in the world here it's not necessary. The big spheres...wow...how they made them. And aliens??? That currency will constantly test your math skills. Aw, the puppies!! Oh, the food. Oh. the food. Even the falafel place with the falafel plate. NICE. And half-awake intros are the best kind! LOL... You said it, Ruth. Based off what we've seen of that place, including your vid, we could move there. Now.

We are definitely still loving the weather and getting tanner by the day!! It's pretty great having to use sunscreen in February. 😂 Also, we're about to have middle eastern carry out for the second night in a row lol. Can't get enough of that falafel & hummus!!!

The walking tour looked really interesting. I love that the aliens could have been making those balls. Your dinner looked really good. Haha the construction xx

We thought the mysterious stone balls were so fascinating!! Especially that they don't know how they were made and can't come up with any practical purpose they would have had. Craziness.

I just love your thumbnails. I need to take notes! I’m a sucker for tours, so pretty over there! You will love looking back at these before kids videos. But once the little one is out, you won’t believe a life without the little one. Enjoy your season and so excited for the next. 👽 is my vote. Didn’t realize only certain trees are used as corks. Surprised Ruth didn’t take a pet home. Oh wow the food looks so good. How long are you guys there for?

I would have taken home a puppy if I could!!! I just wanted to give them all a nice bath and some cuddles!!! We were actually in Costa Rica until January 26th and we're in Colombia now!

Right?? I don't think buildings should ever be made out of entirely gray concrete... It makes me sad. 😂
