Your videos are always so unhinged it really gives me a will to live
If you like the trope “I was sent to kill you but now I’m falling in love with you”, one of my favorite books is The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller. It’s about this girl who’s own goal is to marry the king and kill him to take his kingdom, and things progress from there 😄. It also has one of my favorite first lines “They never found the body of the first and only boy who broke my heart”.
RF Kuang (The Poppy War) wrote Babel. 😄

LOL I get rf kuang and ve schwab mixed up for some reason so I have read a book by her 😂
Girl I don’t know… is so real No thoughts just vibes
HEATHER "the ballad of never after" changed something in me chemically-- literally my favorite series of all time! i can't wait to hear what you think!
The Naturals series is such a good series!! Will never stop recommending it!!
and now I have more books to add to my tbr. thank you?
I found Lisa Jewell so heavy. Then she was gone completely destroyed me. It was horrific 💔💔💔. Two of her books I have loved are the duology - the family upstairs and the family remains. Very very good!!!
the bridge kingdom is so underrated!! i absolutely loved it 💗 so excited for u ✨
Crime and Punishment is literally one of my favorite books of all time! I've read it in high school and since then I've kept coming back to this book may times. truly a masterpiece
I love that I haven’t seen recommendations for a lot of these books! 📖
I would recommend The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson for a book with the trope of one character has to kill the other! The series gets better as you go along. This is also the prequel series to the Dance of Thieves duology! :)
I get basically all my recs from you and this makes me so excited
The Naturals is SO GOOD read all four books in a week and i can never read series books back to back to back thanks to my adhd but i could NOT put it down
the inheritance games and the naturals are soooooo good!!
The ballad of never after was the absolute best in the series!! Ending was 🤯 (thank god I had to wait only 2 weeks for the third book haha) and I loved The bridge kingdom, the second book is even better, I sobbed at the ending 😭🫶🏻 (every 2 books are about a couple) Also random question but have you read Magnolia Parks series?
I'm always so exited to watch your videos. Best part of my week ❤❤❤❤
I just love your videos and clicked on this straight away when I saw that there is a new one🥰😍
You’re going to LOVE the naturals series!! I binged them all in like two weeks 💀
All I know is every time I see you I remind myself to get my stuff together and read Ninth Nouse😂 that’s for sure my top book to read this year! I’m excited to see all your reading vlogs or whatever you post this year!💜💜
If We Were Villians was one of my top reads for 2023. Absolutely loved it!
Another great read with an assassin trope (he’s also a tortured shadow daddy) is We Hunt the Flame but is it YA, so no spice but so much tension! I loved it
The bridge kingdom is soooo good! They're kinda like duologies so the first 2 books are from the POV of 2 characters and the 3rd book happens at the same time as the 2nd but fromthe pov of someone else and its a different couple for book 3&4
It's time to hang with Heather!✨️🤍
Currently reading the poppy war and I’m loving it
Hollow Heathens was so so good!! Was I fully ever able to grasp the concept of the world? Absolutely not. But did I love it, give it 5 stars, and immediately forget about it the next day? Also yes
I LOVE the bridge kingdom so much. But don’t worry about it being a big commitment - it’s really 2 books and then it’s spin off books that follow other characters! But you’re definitely still invested.
Heather and Navy Blue is chef’s Kiss
Omg the Book of Azreal is AMAZING! Slow burn romance and true enemies to lovers. I was giggling and kicking my feet 🤭 also Hollow Heathens is incredible. The witchy vibes were immaculate
Crime and punishment is SO 👏🏼 GOOD 👏🏼 hope you enjoy it!
From what I remember, I really liked The Witch Collector (book 1), so hopefully you will enjoy the first book too!
You will LOVE book of Az, the FMC is morally dark grey 😅. And the bridge kingdom has lots of books but the first two are it's own story. You can pause after two since you get a conclusion to the characters love story and the following books follow different characters. Best ending to a story I've ever read. Same author has a Norse romantasy coming out this year that is fucking amazing. The cliff hanger for the second witch collector is brutal. Like a good brutal
Psychoshifters sounds absolutely insane lmao can't wait to hear your thoughts on it
I think you'll really enjoy the naturals series! I JUST binged through it and it was such a FUN time 👏 definitely better than her other series imo
YES HEATHER IS FINALLY READING THE BALLAD OF NEVER AFTER
I have got to check out The Poppy War because I am obsessed with the Throne of Glass series, Aelin is my favorite fmc ever!!! I also have The Witch Collector and The Book of Azrael on my tbr hopefully I can get to them soon
I just read Skin of a Sinner this month and it was so good! 5 stars.
The Once Upon a Broken Heart series has been on my TBR since last year, but now I'm at a point where I don't know if I'll ever read it..... If you like the single dad trope, I can recommend The Gravity of Us by Brittainy C. Cherry (MC is an author, grumpy and sunshine, part of a series but can be read as a standalone) and if you like enemies to lovers, then go for The Crown of Oaths and Curses. The FMC is a witch and i absolutely adore how she is written in this book. Just keep in mind that this is an actual enemies-to-lovers (slow burn, ongoing series, same author as The Bond That Tie but this is not a reverse harem).
I just finished reading Off the Beaten Path by Madison Wright (its on KU) and i feel like it would be up your alley! single dad, small town, enemies to lovers, you've got mail vibes

Honestly starting it now🫡
Omg you' re going to LOVE if we were villains, it's just too good 🤩
Skin of A Sinner is SO GOOD! The mmc is definitely unhinged but like in a good way lol. He also does anything the fmc says and is completely obsessed with her.

I made it like 15% through & returned it on KU because I wasn’t vibing with it (& I LOVE dark romance). does it get better??

@@elizagrey5006 in my opinion yes, once you find out why he “left” you realize that he didn’t have a choice and that’s when I completely fell in love with him
Heather i love your videos, never stop ❤ i need to know your thoughts on book of azrael!!!
ugh fine i’ll add MORE books to my tbr 😭
BRIDGE KINGDOM SERIES IS IT!!! First book was 4 stars and the rest were 5 stars for me. Plz plz read and love it. I feel like no one talks abt it lol
I have read If We Were Villains and have loved it, I am currently reading The Secrect History and I have to say it is similar to IWWV, but I think both books are amazing.
I've just read the psycho shifters series, it was so addictive!!
the bridge kingdom is perfect for the trope that you were looking for but just before you know i don’t think it’s considered fantasy because there are no magical elements but it’s set in made up world that the author created, before reading i didn’t know there was no magic so the more you know!!✨
the divine comedy slays 💅💅(i'm italian i can't say otherwise)
I would recommend having a bible for reference when you read Dante’s comedia. Lots of characters and mentions from the Bible
Dark romance rec. Demons Dream by Elle Kayson. I read it months ago and can't stop thinking about it. It has a 84% 5 star rating for a reason.
I REALLY wanted to love the bridge kingdom because of the assassin and other tropes in it but I dnf it 3/4 thru. I may go back to it but the first book ends on a cliffhanger that makes u have to read the second and it gets so angsty and not really a clear HEA apparently. So I just couldn't right now. Not with SADS in winter ❄️ 😢but I did really like The Remnant Chronicles series. It's romantasy (3books) with assassin trope!! ❤

Agreed! I had to speed read the ending to get the first book finished
you have to read the ballad of never after!!!!! it was my favorite in the trilogy- def the best and i have also wanted to read the poppy war, i loved babel and yellowface so i trust rf kuang with my life
I'm reading the divine comedy now !!!! My reason is Hozier lol 😂😂
Not me adding every book to my tbr 😅😂
Poppy war is from the same author as Babel!!

I just realized that😅😂
Psycho shifters really does give off the bonds that tie vibes. Honestly really close
Babel is by RF Kuang! Poppy war is insane!
The naturals was such a good series. You always have such good book recommendations. I just read ninth house and loved it
I want to read the witch collector so bad! I think it’s meant to be spicyyyy
last year i got like halfway through skin of a sinner and had to stop because it was too odd for me, normally i like dark romances but this one was just weird to me
Unravelling The Beast by Jodie King wow what a read
IF WE WERE VILLAINS OMG PLEASE READ. you will not regret it 😭😭😭
No because I’m reading the same classics for the same reasons 😭
im reading the nightingale right now and its difficult for me to finish it..should i continue it if anyone's read it?

I personally loved this book, but that’s because I love stories about sisters and historical fiction! But I can see why it would be difficult to read it is definitely slow throughout the whole book. I dont want to spoil but this book had a memorable ending. Here are emojis to make it vague but give you an idea if you’re debating on finishing it: 😨💔😭🥹
ur pretty :')

Psycho shifters is skippable 😅
Eu amo te acompanhar mas quase nenhum livro que você recomenda tem em português hahahah acompanho mesmo assim! I love watch your videos but almost no book you recommend hasn't in Portuguese hahahah I watch it anyway!
Hollow heathens was such a let down for me 🙃 like, 200 pages to long imo
no CC3?! It wasn’t in your 2024 anticipated books video and not included here!!

I am scared to read that because of ruhn LMAO
THE BOOK OF AZRAEL 🫨🫶👏
Let me tell you, you're not fking ready for the book of azrael !!!
Unpopular opinion, the bridge kingdom was so….bleh
Crime and Punishment is good! I would recommend "Master and Margarita" for a classics choice, it is amazing
