The entire Confederation series has been awesome and the Defiance class has been the best so far. The Defiant was always an amazing ship. The sharper lines make it look more aggressive but also suit the aerodynamic aspects. The more visible glow from the nacelles give it some added character. My favourite design element are the two flanges at the back, they remind me of the Parliament Class from Lower Decks, which is another favourite. of mine.

I love all the Confederation videos you've done so far, every ship design looks incredible and your storytelling is riveting. I know it must be very hard work making these videos, but it all pays off. Though I'd love to see a timeline of the rise of the Confederation. I second this! We really need to have a "History Review" for the Confederation. How did this alternate universe come to be? Where did it start to go sideways from the prime timeline? If anyone is capable of telling that story this channel is the top of my list for awesome storytelling.

It's not what I expected it to look like (I thought it would logically follow the other Confederate designs by having a main hull that resembles the Defiant with the signature Confederate saucer recesses in ehich the majprity of the added weapons would be, but ypur design is still phenomenal and excellently conveys the faction's penchant for aggressive design, somewhat resembling the sharper feel of the Confederate delta. Well done!

This is a great reinterpretation of the Defiant for the Confederation. Now you have me curious about Military Outpost DS9. I know O'Brien would be there as he's the one that figured out how to make the Defiant work. His chief of security though in this timeline would probably have been Michael Eddington. Also Bashir would be there. As to the others (Dax, Kira, Worf and Odo) that would be harder. If I'd Hazzard a guess maybe Captain Benteen as his first officer. In a bit stumped as to the rest that would be his command staff. In any event this was a great video.

Had an interesting question. Thought you would be the best person to ask. My thought is about the Holodeck. Why could the rooms be used to increase the volume of people being rescued? Why is that never explored?

So... I get that the Confederation has higher weapons and defense tech than the Federation. A combination of them unashamedly stealing any alien tech not bolted down (and sometimes even then) and pushing all their tech to the limit in their paranoia of the unknown. The ships are cool. But what about those one-off superweapons we saw in Trek. Genesis of course, but there's also the whale probe, V'ger, and the Planet Killers. I imagine just one of these would send the confederation citizens into a tizzy of fear and making plans to counter them.

The Confederation is very similar to the Federation we know! So a lot of those events would happen basically the same way... The big difference between the Confederation and the Federation is simply that the Confederation is a humans only club!

The Confederation is the way they are because instead of looking at the universe in wonder, they look at it with fear. It's right in their motto, they want safety. I'm thinking all the Doomsday weapons lying around will just make them even more paranoid.

Excellent video. the defiance really feels like a fighter! My main complaint is one you cant possibly control, that the borg campaign feels short for such a powerful foe. but that isnt your fault at all *unless it is* Also, im glad to see new starship dna. the world razer design was starting to get stale

But this is the Borg. 40 years to destroy the borg in every single system of the thousands they assimilated or control? thats a handful of systems taken every single day. probably more with borg counter attacks. Space is huge, even with transwarp you also still need to bring all those ships and replacement parts. again, to wrap up. 40 years is normally a long war for sure. But the Borg arent like the Klingons, or the Dominion. Even with the Confederations more powerful tech, i dont buy they are "sieze a new system every few hours for 40 years from the Borg" powerful
