This was quite a bit to take in. Feels like it could've been good as a daily upload or a weekly upload even as a series. Some very interesting facts in this though. Wit the DLC in with ZELDA on a physical copy talked about here, that's going to get sourced quite a bit I imagine. Really interesting to know why NINTENDO wouldn't have sold that in the west.

@@Bangcat i think it could be as simple as the fact the japan alone is making them just a huge sum of profit, not revenu, i do mean profit. it probably cost less to nintendo to make games in japan than exporting them elsewhere worldwide and the japanese user base truly support that company on an enormous manner.

@@charlestrudel8308 Possibly...But... They already have a building there to do that... Meanwhile if their new building, which I assume is going to be in operation at the same time, would be held under different rules of another country. If Japan for instance shut everything down for Covid, they could ask for employees to volonteer to work at the american office still if said restrictions weren't as deadlocked. Which for a while I do believe was the reasoning. Now this isn't me saying they SHOULD do that, but different locations means different regulations one can play in the field. It just seems to make more sense to make the most of that money and this felt like it didn't quite do that unless they're for sure retiring that old building. Which I'm pretty sure they're not.

Jordan. I'm extremely appreciative of this. I'm sure this will go unnoticed by many because of the video's length, but you are certainly putting your heart and soul in these projects.

I just want to say while I agree it may get overlooked early on, I think it's the type of video that could be a slow burner for them and rack up a ton of views in the long term. Definitely appreciate this vid still because I know their time could have been put towards doing several videos that would probably get more views. This is going to make my shitty Sunday a lot better lol

I like longer videos like this. I'm here for information and entertainment you're not getting the same amount of information from a six minute video as you do here.

Jordan thank you for taken the time too make us a movie about switch games that we can import from PlayAsia I watch these videos like 5 times in a day. From beginning too end.

Great video! Another thing to note about the JP exclusive Blaster Master Zero Trilogy is that it is the only version that includes FULL JP VOICE ACTING for every single dialogue (even the support/radio convos in Sophia) in all three games. Really great reason to revisit the game.

These videos are fast becoming one of my yearly highlights, practically a public service for game collectors as far as I'm concerned and I salute you guys for all your hard work. I'm currently closing in on 200 Switch physicals (far too many of which can be fully attributed to this channel), so I thought I'd seen it all and that my wallet was gonna get away scott-free this year, but you still got me with World of Final Fantasy Maxima.

🚀🚀🚀 I live in the Philippines, and am lucky enough to be around game stores that stock all these import exclusives with English. Many of the JRPGs listed here, I own, but there are still some that I don't so... time to let the money fly! Fantastic list, Jordan! It also reminded me that I haven't picked up Love Esquire and The Letter yet. Thankfully they're still available here.

Love your work, guys! Just a friendly FYI... at the 25.00 min mark, the kanji character in that shmup is actually translated as "shark" (not "same"). That game is called "Flying Shark! Shark! Shark!" (ie. 3 flying shark games). Thanks again for your efforts, I really enjoyed it.

"Popular imports" might be a good idea for future video. Lists like these are great because I keep referring to them for ideas for things to get, so a list of "popular" items would also make a great list. Just a list of important/popular games that got a small or easily missed western release would be a great idea.

Making a list for when I eventually get back to Japan. It’s good to know which games have English so this feature length video is amazing.

I am six months late in picking up Metallic Child. The game never left my mind since I first watched and re-watched your review video, Jordan. A video game which allows 40 years old me to be invincible as I play through Story Mode difficulty mode in a Rouge-Lite. I am sold to dig into my savings to support developer Studio HG. I am happy to have the company of Metallic Child Rona for my birthday this May. :D

Awesome job! Enders Lilies was an unexpected surprise. I wanted to hold out for a possible physical but ended up buying on holiday sale. Keep up the great work. Your weekly physical games releases is my favorite. 🚀

First video I have watched from you and loved it. Own all the super robot taisens except 30 and gundam crossways. Need to pick up 30 and generations.

While I don't own a Switch, I do collect some games for Switch and some of these games will be on the PS4, so I rocketed all the way to the end of the video while at work. I live in the US, wouldn't mind a video that has games that can be imported from PAL regions but not in the US(like Aggelos for example.)

Now of course there's games you've missed, as there's a lot of limited companies out there that release new games every week, but one I do want to mention, add it to your video next year maybe? Brigandine The Legend of Runersia. While it originally released from LRG, the LRG version doesn't have the patches and the Play-Asia version includes all of the patches on the card, this includes better AI and a lot of other tweaks and such, additionally it includes the tier 3 Titan and tier 3 goblin as well as well.

The 1st Override Mech City Brawl has an excellent 1 player campaign where as its sequel, which has Ultraman in it, is more of an online fighter with terrible AI and no story/campaign. Get the 2nd if you have friends that are willing to buy it and play with you. Otherwise, get the Playasia Import.

Amazing Video, just realized that i do have a few out of print Playasia games too

As SpikesGirl pointed out it’s getting a western retail release so I took it out of the list (it was in initially)

interesting recommendations.... i hope to get the Japanese Phyisical copies from Rockman X Anniversary Collection a decent price, specially the 2nd collection. Yeah, the Rockman & X 5 in a Box is beautiful, but damn, nowadays is around 200 to 600 USD, ugh, scalpers everywhere for now, i plan import the Kobayashi Maid Dragon game from Play-Asia, So I won't have to wait a North American physical release. nice video.
