Well your the first rider that actually is a rider and have been riding for a long time. Yeah the DLX is of quality, however, I need the 6 speed. The on and off pavement is the reasons. The 6 speed's tend to have the lower 1st gear also. In that I do a ton of "no trail to be had', as I term it "free lancing" through the woods/forest riding. So yeah I need a bike with out a radiator and 6 speed and, the short stroke of a 250 cc. Also the shortness of length with these bikes really helps with maneuverability when things get tight out there..... Rock on.

I am the proud owner of a Templar X some caveats: licensing make sure that when you get your MCO that it says motorcycle not off-road dirtbike this has been a constant struggle to get mine licensed. Insurance they would only do liability on the Chinese motorcycle. Nibbi carburetor put this on before you even start the motor cycle buy good American made stainless steel hose clamps and fuel line put your fuel line on the carburetor before you ever attempt to mount it it will save you a ton of time because the space is tight. Nibi makes an ignition I would swap out the original and use a NGK iridium spark plug chances are you’ll never ever have to change it. If you plan on changing your sprocket once again do this before you even start the bike I would recommend a high-quality chain with a rivet master link. As stated in the video Loctite Loctite Loctite. Drain the oil high-quality synthetic. Take your time break in the motorcycle engine slowly. Remember your tempering the steel. Just some suggestions.

@oneanddonetzone3673 nope didn't take it that way friend! All good points for anyone reading the comments and seeing this as their first video from me or any Chinese clone bike video! Another good point to add is to always check the fuel tank before filling it up as a few of the bikes I've gotten have had metal shavings Inside. A good fuel filter and some compressed air always takes care of that. Also immediately replace motor mounts if possible on all of these Chinese bikes. They tend to snap easily. This has happened also on 2 of my bikes with light riding. They over torque the soft metal bolts on the mounts.

Top Speed. Hmmm. Why buy a bike like this if you need a fast bike? These are trail bikes that can be ridden on the street, if you get the DLX and get it registered for street use. Otherwise it's a dirt bike. The gearing is pretty low in first, but 2nd is about as low as you go on most trails anyway. If you need first it's because you are climbing something. Lowered the front sprocket? Why? If you need more TOP SPEED a larger front sprocket would have been the least expensive way to pull more chain inches. Then a smaller sprocket on the back. Like I said,... it's a trail bike, not a street bike. A Dual Sport in name only. But,... Solid as a rock.

Im trying to understand why you told me all of that. I lowered the front tooth to make it even more torquey. Im not looking for a high top speed. My channel is filled with chinese bikes. Im aware of all of what you said. This bike FOR MY purposes will be used for stunting. It has street tires on it now. Again going down one tooth in the front will make it more torquey. Im not looking for a crazy top speed on a chinese bike with 5 gears. Ill save that for bikes like my triumph speed triple.

@michaelzuccaro1798 I've always done nibbi. The problem people don't realize how finicky they are. You really gotta have patience they take some finesse and fine tuning. I've always used nibbi. The stock carb works great, but I want a little more bang for the buck and some slight power so I will be going with a nibbi upgrade.
