Thanks for the review. I've been trying to get info on how well the steps work, but when I search for a review I am first given a long list of install videos. Even the ones labeled install and review mostly talk about install, talk a tiny bit how these might be useful without showing anybody actually using it. When I look for a review, your video is exactly what I am looking for.

That adjustable tube is called a “load bar” we use them to secure loads in semi trailers. They can be found at most chain truck stops. (You’ll need to look for the short ones) about 25$

you know what's funny is that Ford offers that tailgate side step on their superdutys. I just ordered my superduty with that step and it is FANTASTIC! the Ford middle step is great but it's to high on the superduty. the side step being alot lower than the bumper makes it very convenient and useful! glad you enjoy your sidestep as much as i do!

My 2008 f 250 had a step and handle built into the tailgate. I don’t know why every truck doesn’t have this type of system now!,,, also I use a 2x6 cut to fit across my truck bed at the end near the tailgate. All trucks have places for a piece of lumber to fit across. In several places. Mine gives me about 18 inches +/- . If you don’t need it it pulls out quickly. It’s cheap and awesome

Never been a problem going down or up after a long winter trip. Bringing it down breaks off the ice and going up has enough force to lock it back into position. That's why I love it Dan.

Your roads are too narrow! Diana and I have been to England several times (and will be back in September - maybe we can meet!). While driving around Kent, south of Bridge where my dad was born, we were on numerous roads that run between towns that are really only 1 lane roads. If another car approaches, both have to slow down and crowd the fences to get past. If I had my F150, I'd not be slowing down for anybody!!!!!!!!!! And I don't think your parking spaces would work either. They seem made for the Ford Focus - not the F150. Take care Peter. Alec

I recall you hinting at getting over in spring, which are I say officially passed last week where we had more "chaos" caused by the snow (which by the way I love). You are welcome over whenever you come, it would be great to meet, dive and even hang out. Show you a thing or two we like to do also in addition to diving. Take care for now, Peter
