Mojang has stated that the structures are purposefully designed this way as simplistic as possible because they want their players to go wild with the structure designs too with their creativity, saying if the structures were to look more complex, it would really limit the player's creative side.

@@rayplaysgamesrpg7233 IMO, having base structures so simple limits creativity because it doesn't give much inspiration. And even if an idea does strike, you have to rip the base version out entirely, otherwise it clashes with the complexity of something new.

The desert temple at 1:04 is using colored wool rather than concrete, most likely a nod to older minecraft versions using wool for desert temples

I think these structures are way to big to be comfortable navigating. Minecraft is already big enough, I don't need giant structures to be spaced out that far.

in my opinion it would encourage me more to build my own stuff if the structures in question weren't so easy to live in currently. A bigger structure would deter me, or at most make me put off living in it until waaaay later

For the villages, I think it would be better if instead of replacing them, they added larger more detailed versions that were much rarer. They could be called likes cities, or the old ones could be renamed to something like hamlet

Very unlikely for Java since it would require a colab with people can't be contacted, and outright impossible for bedrock since it would require a singular uploader.

If that was on the bedrock marketplace, I would buy minecoins for the second time ever

I used to have a habbit in minecraft of going to a desert tempole and then just living there, eventually I would turn it into a sort of desert castle. That was just my starter base because it was easier to find a desert tempole then to find somewhere nice to build.

Yeah. That’s what I was thinking. I’m the explorer type of player, so these would be really fun as a rare variant type rather than replacing them entirely.

I think some of these could be really good if you have both the original and the upgrade as a rarer version.

There is a youtuber who already remade 3 structures begin the desert temple, jungle temple and dungeon. Hé also Made a new structure for the pillagers. The youtuber is called Whimzee.

In my Minecraft bedrock world , a village was abandoned by the villagers but the village was just a normal village not fully looked like abandonedand what even more interesting is that the village has a pillager outpost in it. It's so interesting to make a story on it that how the villagers abandoned their village when it was invaded by the pillagers

In my opinion I think most of the structures in the base game are pretty good on their own

3:35 true, I have started a world, made a little base, traveled a short distance and said “Oh…” after spotting a village within a slightly increased render distance’s view.

I once redid an ocean monument with cobblestone in place of prismarine, and stone bricks in place of prismarine bricks, lanterns in place of sea lanterns, etc. it took SO LONG because I didn't know how to do world-editing commands back then.

5:28 btw,i resently found out i had an adult camel in a bot, i remember since an update that if you put a mob (not all just the ones that when they are adult they cant fit in the boat) in a boat and it grew it got kikt out of the boat, i had that in my creative world and found out,i tried to get it on land witha lead atatch on the boat (in bedrock edition you can lead a boat but in java you cant) but i put in on the camel bi acident and now i cant get an adult camel in the boat,so i just lost an unapteinable entety (entety becose the boat and the camel are enteties) lukaly tho i took a photo of the camel and the boat before it was kikt out of the boat.

ive actually made an ocean monument before and i made my base inside it
