This was the craziest game I’ve watched in a long long time. 98% of me wants to be outraged by the refs, but I know I just gotta let it go.

If the single point we lost out on becomes the difference between the postseason and the links then something in the remaining 75 games is to blame, not this one. It's a long season, taking one point per game is an average result and thus far we've been playing well above that. Still 11 out of 14 possible, and now the guys get a chance to show what they're made of post-adversity, which is where the champs separate themselves from the chumps. Jets better be prepared. LGRW!

@@icedo1013It's less about the point and more about the fact that once AGAIN, the Wings are on the butt end of BLATANT cheating and ref/NHL favoritism/incompetence. As you say, we have 75 games left. How many more times is stupid BS like this going to happen? This wasn't some missed hook, hold, or slash that can be hidden by a players body. This was a player throwing a stick across open ice in full view of at least one official and they didn't even bat an eyelash.

"Favoritism" lmao. You're beyond saving. Quit responding to me please, you bring nothing of value to the conversation. It happened, it won't change, ever, no matter how hurted your feewings got; you can either move on and put it behind you or wallow in self-pity over some apocryphal cabal of anti-Red Wings elite for the next 5 months. I choose to do the former because this team is capable of doing the former as well. You act like there aren't 31 other teams that think the refs call weak/phantom penalties. It's October for God's sake.

We were a thrown stick away from winning this game.

@@Mattk48_Mickey had many choice words he wanted to say that he couldn’t. As is, him calling a ref like that probably already totes the line of a fine if the NHL is as strict on making an example of their officials as other leagues.

Love the content. Could you post the unlucky moments in this game maybe a separate video, would love to show my buddies. Veleno missing the wide open net early. Larkin stopped on the breakaway in the first. The thrown stick of course and how Seattle scores 10 seconds later because of it. Soft "hooking" call on Larkin that results in a tied game. Raymond nailing the post in OT and then it comes back Sieder sliding into him and its in our net. I mean wow, we just were not meant to win this one.

This was honestly one of the most frustrating NHL games I've ever watched. So much shit, whether it was Veleno missing the open net and then 40 minutes of the Wings putting passes into each other's skates and the refs being pure chaos, then the third period gave me hope, then ended horribly...then OT, watched that 3 on 3 crap, finally getting a chance, and a post leads to everyone having to commit so hard to defense that they can't recover and stop the next chance, seconds from the horn. Holy shit, man. The only silver lining I see is that it can kind of remind them how hard it is to win in this league. We've had some stuff go really easy for us so far. But there's things to improve.

I love that DeBrincat jumps into Mo's arms after his goal. So wholesome.

For real, i'm not one to really blame refs. But the game of hockey is such a close game with scores. A call like that 100% and determine the outcome and it most certainly did. Wings won in my mind lol. But reality is we got screwed and lost.

This one hurt. At least, the power power is clearly something all season that is going to be a force to be reckoned with.

This is probably one of the worst gsmes I've ever watched with officials and there blown calls #DetroitVsEverybody

Regardless of officiating we got outplayed for 2/3 of this game. Everybody woke up in the 3rd to make it interesting but it feels like we gave one away here.

Don’t give the reffing an out. You deserve to win games that you would have won without poor calls. Even if we were hemmed in most of the game we deserved to win by virtue of a higher finishing rate.

DAMNED ZEBRAS HANDED THIS GAME TO SEATTLE!

I was at that game and after that thrown stick everyone was mad. The 2nd ended and the 3rd opened with the crowd chanting, "Refs you suck!" The 3rd period comeback was the only thing that stopped a riot.

DeBrincat's goal could not have been easier... Daccord totally overshot his slide.

PP still looks great tho we had an average of 5 goals per game before this one - if we only made the 5th goal in this game, where it really mattered unlucky loss, but imo we gave it away in the first 2 periods we didn't leave completely empty-handed, next game is coming, next win too!

Should make a compilation video of all the botched calls that lead to 4 of SEA's 5 goals.

People are complaining about the refs and rightly so but Seattle came to play last night and aside from the PP were able to stifle the top line pretty well all night. Still happy we got a point out of the game, and hopefully we take away some lessons (D Boss cant take that hook at the end of the game).

Unbelievably terrible reffing. Any ref can call the stick throwing penalty, how does no one see it? Wtf were they looking at? Also the Sprong and Larkin penalties were laughable.

Don’t forget on the OT winner they held/interfered with I think compher on the game winner in the corner just seconds before they scored

The ONLY people to not 👀 the stick thrown were the REFS!?

You gotta hold on. You're able to come back even with the refs screwing stuff up earlier and then not hold on? They gotta tighten up that team D a bit. Eventually the PP and goal scoring will dry up a bit and you have to be ready for that.

Red Wings gave this game away on top of the questionable reffing. It is what it is, onto to the Jets.

That’s how I look at it. Chalk this one up quickly move on. There’ll be a few more games like this this season. Next two games coming up are gunna be huge.

Eh, sucks they lost the game the way they did but considering the 2 goal deficit going into the 3rd, at least they got the point. Scoring is still the best we've seen in at least a decade, tighten up the D and get the two points against Winnipeg. Thanks for the videos man, helping me through the Bally Blackout lol.

I like the kraken they did nothing wrong this game but they did not deserve to win it. I’m sure they know this was a gifted win. Refs should be fired

Detroit's defense, especially Seider, have been average at best. Power Play and goaltending keeps bailing this team out. Very low IQ plays that led to penalties as well. Raymond needs to start burying his chances or I'd like to see someone else move up to the top line.

The Eminem goal horn sucks. If they’re going to play a song by a Michigander it should my sweaty uncle Ted Nuge’ not some hairdyed rapper.

Yo Awood. Would you ever consider doing the whole game highlights even when we lose? I’m sure it’s more work but I missed a big chunk of the game and want to see the real highlights that the networks never show. Id also be intrigued in seeing the goals against so i know what went wrong. Either way thanks for what you so.
