I was talking to a competition shooter this weekend, he was talking about bullet fouling. Said when you go from one type of projectile to another you barrel has to get some of that type of jacket down it for it to settle down. I have not heard of this but he competes and i dont have that kind of budget. Something to think about.

I think it was called a Score High follower that I put in my Ackley 3 decades ago. Rides on top of the stock follower in my M700. Just drop the round in and close the bolt. Looking forward to some dog vids!

I'm looking for a nice .222. looks like an accurate, economical and fun caliber to shoot.

It looked like your magneto speed wasn’t tight enough on the barrel and was sliding forward as you were shooting, that will change harmonics as it shifts from shot to shot.

I would think the chrono on the end of the BBL would change the accuracy potential !

What do you think of varmint garnads and have you ever play with 30g balistic tips in your bsa
@cavedweller1959
Жыл бұрын
Never played with 30gr. BTs, Maybe 20 years ago I picked up a box of 36gr V-Grenades. Original 222 barrel didn't like them. I have shot 1 group with the new barrel, I think it will work. Hope to do it in June.

How's the Speer bullets going with accuracy and performance.

I have enough data for .5 MOA groups with all 4 bullets that I have so far. That's plenty good to check for down range dog town performance. If it's not good out there. no reason to carry on. I shot 35 rounds of this videos bullet, Hornady 45gr HP/BEE, on a town a few days ago. Safe to say I will never need to load another.
