    Hey Clarence! Looking at your technique and your physique, I can tell you are pretty new to weight training. I would recommend watching instructional videos by Rich Piana for example. That being said I really enjoy your videos, and I really think you can become one of the strongest guys in your gym/on youtube if you put your mind into it. Take no offense, I'm just guiding you as an experienced lifter.

    Btw Clarence, I have slighlty less dorsiflexion in left ankle from tricking and landing always on left leg. Feels like it's permament but who knows. Because of that I tend to hip shift when squats get heavy. Any tips other than moving left foot a little forward just like Klokov do?

    Have tried warming up with weighted barbell compression? Like where you squat down and rest a barbell on top of your knees to encourage better dorsiflexion. I destroyed my ankle in a kickboxing accident and have now managed to regain all my ROM using this warm up. Good luck!

    Congratulations, your current PR (170kg) was Clearence's PR back in May 2010 when he was 16 years old. ATG, I should add. Now do the calculation yourself (subtract genetics and add knee problems).

    Hey Clarence! I've always admired your insane strength man. But one question I have about your squatting technique is why you shift your weight forward at the last second have your knees track past your toes. Traditionally it's been recommend to sit back and keep the weight on your heels behind your toes for the whole lift right? Just curious.

    you're supposed to keep the weight over the middle of your foot. as to why he moves his knees forward at the bottom of the lift, it's probably because it's the only way his hips will allow him to go deeper. so it's entirely personal to him and shouldn't be mimicked. everyone squats differently.

    Yeah, it means he's got an imbalance occuring somewhere that's throwing the alignment of that ligament off and causing it to click or pop when it slides across a bony process.
