Pretty damn tight. If I had to pick a drummer to play RUSH it would be Portnoy. Great!

That was the best I have ever heard any cover band play 2112, It was impossible to hold back the tears.

For 6 and a half minutes I was transported back to 12 year old me in 1976. Thank you.

Saw them 3 times when they toured Kings, Hemispheres and PW in the late 70s. Geddy's vocals were unreal back then.

Such a fabulous cover. Patty’s voice as always is spot on. Bravo. Brava!!!!

I loved the Rickenbacker era for Geddy.

That was Epic. That singer nailed it too.

This was playing in a background tab and I didn't realize it wasn't a live Rush version for about five minutes when I switched over to see. Fucking amazing.

The instrumentation was great, the mix was good, everyone was unbelievable...but when that vocalist came in, I got chills. She's amazing.

I was just thinking that I'd have liked to hear it with the bass volume upped 10% and the guitar 20%, maybe more. Seemed a bit tame, and that had nothing to do with how it was being played. Having wished for a bit more aggressive sound before, I gotta say especially the singer made it really come to life. All in all a really great cover, you could tell already by the first notes.

Jam rush on bass with rest of band backing track pretty well daily - sometimes the neighbours do yell at the window, can’t tell of applauding or not so 🤷‍♂️ 😆

Fortunately, it probably wasn't too bad for him. That kit had a pretty similar basic layout to the kits he used in DT, and most of his other post-DT prog-rock groups. But if YYNOT's drummer had been using a 1 to 1 imitation of Neil's setup, that probably would have tripped him up a lot more. Neil's layout from 1995 onward was a bit unorthodox.

@@generay6807 That has to be such a pain in the ass for lefty's, especially for gigging players who have to use house kits a lot. I'd imagine learning to play open-handed is a necessity.

@@Beefnhammer Ya. It’s prevented me from doing open mic nights or going up and playing a song or two. Over the years I’ve taught myself to play right handed, but I can only do it on easier songs.

How unbelievably awesome! Incredible performance, and you got to do it with Portnoy. The music sounds flawless, and for me Patty is outstanding on vocals. She can pull off the edge and energy of early Geddy while still bringing her own personality to the stage. Yall are a fantastic band!

Glad they have a female to do Geddys vocals. Like I was not expecting how hard she could sing his part. I was at first content at not having to hear an off key grumbly male voice. I was absolutly blown away by her sinigng and the drums. Glad he's repping Neil, too. shout out to the man above

I've heard of YYN before but never watched a video and tbh only clicked on this one because MP was playing, but now I'll be looking for more because this was excellent in every department.

Check out YYNOT's original studio albums, they will not disappoint! The 2022 album "Light and Shade" is a beginning to end masterpiece. They take many cues from Rush, but by the end of that album - you will realize they are certainly their own band.

THE SOUND!!!!! The engineers and crew need to be applauded. This sounds amazing. I can feel the drums and bass fly around me. The guitar is making my ears tingle. Wild

Wow! Just wow! So good. And Patty's vocals...simply stellar!

They are so, so good. Got to see them in a tiny Connecticut venue in Jan 2024 - very impressive.

I absolutely loved this show, YYNOT were incredible as were all the special guests. I found myself getting very emotional for all the Rush songs. It was a bit of a bummer at the end the Mike had to split to NYC to meet is daughter, but was awesome that everyone else hung out to sign stuff. This is will be a highlight show for 2023 for sure.
