Totally agree re tyres. Tramline terribly. Have changed mine to Dunlop Mutants. Brilliant. 110/80 front vs the standard Metzler Tourance Next 100/90. Fitted standard 150/70 size on rear as recommended for the bike on the Dunlop site.

Don't know why Triumph still insist on fitting the Tourance as standard with the amount of owners who seem to dislike them!

Awesome review. A real rider reviewing his own bike. There should be more of it. I am currently trying to workout what bike i will buy and because of this review, I am almost sold on it. It seems to tick all of my boxes. Well done on your review and thanks alot for your honesty. Subscribed! Hopefully this years model has decent tyres. I also agree with your view on the BMW boxer engine. I reckon I would trip over it everyday lol.

Thank you, it’s great to hear these things! As I always say, I am not a professional KZreadr, I’m not even a natural in front of a camera, so what I post is 100% real and unbiased. If something is crap, I will say so! 👍🏻

Does the rear hugger actually work well? What about the front extenda fender thoughts? Why are the stock tires so bad? I guess if you don't ride hard they are ok? I am in the US and Triumph service intervals for my 2022 is 10,000 miles. Sounds like they make up short intervals just to get more money.

The rear hugger isn’t worth the money in my opinion. I would personally spend your money on a R&G shock sock instead. If you don’t ride hard the stock tyres are passable, but in the rain and on imperfect surfaces they are horrendous. Tyres though, seem to be very subjective! Are you sure that your service intervals are not 10k kilometres, not miles? Because unless Triumph have increased them, the 6k miles interval is universal.

I've got me a quadlock mount but it's on the bars at the moment. I do also have a tomtom mounting bracket above the tft screen so my question is how have you mounted your quadlock mount above your tft screen 👍

It's an Evotech mount specific to the Tiger 900. Great bit of kit. I originally had a Tomtom rider on there but when that packed in I swapped it for a Quad lock mount.

I have the V47NNT, it fits 2 full face helmets and is barely noticeable when riding the bike.

It was fitted to the bike from new. As far as I'm aware it uses the standard factory tune.

Did you fit a 110 wide front tire or stock 100 90 19?

The road 6 isn’t available in the stock front size, so needs to be 110. 👍🏻

I fitted the Dunlop Mutants. 110/80 front, 150/70 rear per Dunlop recommendation on their site. Excellent compared to stock.

The paintwork has been pretty good on my bike. The only area of concern has been the fork bottoms and rear subframe. The paint was peeling off the bottoms and there was some paint bubbling on the subframe. All fixed under warranty with no quibbles. So I would say keep on top of the cleaning and XCP anti corrosion is your friend.

No issues in nearly 16k miles, the only minor problems I've had have been quality related, but these have been sorted out by my dealer without issue.
