If you bought everything separately and found your own fatwood, you could make your own fire starting kit for far less than 40 bucks! Cotton balls, vasoline, aluminum foil, char cloth, etc.

So, the title of the video is right. Almost all of these things are really gadgets. All of them are over-complicated and over priced. Going out into the bush and want to survive? You need a means of water filtration and carry. You need shelter, which means a good sleeping bag, then either a tent or a good tarp. You need cordage, both for setting up your shelter and to secure food by making traps or fishing line. Paracord is light and super useful in every way. You need reliable ways to start fire. Carry a ferro rod, a Bic lighter, or water proof matches. You need a good sturdy bush craft knife, to process wood, to cut up game and any number of other tasks. You should have a hatchet and/or a folding saw. To keep a strong fire going all night, you need a lot of firewood, and a hatchet or saw will produce firewood much faster than a knife. You need a first aid kit, some bandages, some basic meds and disinfectants, etc. You need one or more good flashlights, because you might still be getting ready to survive the night when it gets dark. You need food. This means either you carry in enough food, or have the tools and skills to hunt or fish. But MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANY OF THESE: You need to be mentally and physically prepared. It's no good to have fishing line if you don't know how to fish, no good to have an excellent crossbow if you don't know how to hunt. Learn to tie knots. Learn to forage off the land. Practice setting up your shelter in good weather, or in a pouring rain or driving snow. Being prepared means you must be able to do things from long practice. You won't be able to use a gadget to survive if you have it stored in a pack you never use and then you pull it out during a crisis and have to read the instruction label. The single most important tool you will have is your brain, and next you will need an able body to carry out the tasks your brain sets out. Most of the stuff in this video is junk. Some are somewhat useful. But mostly, there are really no survival gadgets, just survival-ready people.

I backed over the top of a wall and when moving forward I pulled the rubber covering off rear bumper away from my vehicle. I taped it back on until I could replace it or have a auto body shop put it back on with T-Rex tape. It's going on 3 years now and the tape still holds it where it's supposed to be. This, even though it went through 3 midwest winters and multiple automated car washes. Can recommend.

A solar panel that size will take about a month to fully recharge that power bank. For practical purposes, it's just a large battery until you find an outlet to recharge it from.

#2, the axe, I can go to the harware store and buy a hatchet for what? $10-15 and it do the same thing? oh.. it comes with a 90 page .PDF file, that i cant open in the woods.. Gotcha. I'll stick to the 500,000 videos on KZread on my phone that i can watch for FREE! #4. $27 for a paper or plastic splint. a Couple sticks, and shoelaces or paracord work just as well. Just get the Bracelet combo tool at 6:38 to go with the Sticks. last one, UFO REAL... $149 until a 3 lb bass gets on the line and snatches it off your fingertips. ..
