Same! When my godson was a baby I'd rock him to sleep while watching these compilations. It helped me stay awake in the late hours but I'd go right to sleep after he was secure in the crib. I kinda miss those days.

I don't get why tasty gets so much hate for reusing their content. Tasty is a channel to help people with food preparation and good recipes. When I want to make a good cake I'll go through this video to decide which I want to make. If I have a specific cake in mind I'll search for that one and make it. This is simply just a compilation for the convenience of people and in the end tasty is making more money out of it. So what if it is reused content, they are still uploading a lot of videos in a short period of time pretty consistently and no one seems to be giving them praise for that. There is probably one or two new recipes a day. What else can you expect them to do. One person can't make more than 2 recipes a day on a daily basis if they're actually following the recipes tasty has. If you don't want to watch the same recipes then simply don't click on this video and waste your oh-so precious time.

I have been watching Tasty for months now and I have figured out that when my son (2.5 years old) has a hard time sleeping, I can just whip this channel out and put it to a longer video (at least 15 mins) and he falls asleep almost every time before the video is done. The calm music on a loop helps him sleep and for that I'm thankful to Tasty.

Odds are it's someone's birthday today, so I am going to make one of these cakes to celebrate! 🙂

Here's a tip: if you're adding something to your cake batter (chocolate chips, fruit, etc), you should coat that something in flour first so they won't sink to the bottom of the cake
