Not harping on kings island but they need more variation of manufacturing. B&m love you but majority of your coaster are not fast they have a gentle swoop... well not diamondback lol love that coaster even have an Awesome photo bomb on mine... me and brother hand in air girl on side seat ...blacked out ha ha. I want to see more macks

Maverick originally had a heartline roll between the rock walls after it banked across the pond but it was replaced with a 'S' curve after they learned it put too much stress on the seats.

Another fun fact : one of the names an ad agency suggested for Magnum was “Psyco’s Path.” It was rejected as not appropriate for a family-friendly park??? Look up the definitions of “Magnum:”. A extra large container on wine, an extra large size/brand of condom, an extremely powerful handgun. All very family-friendly items-imagine the problems if you did all three simultaneously! 🤗

This is an extremely unknown and “un-documented” fact, but I know this from my dad who was a maintenance worker. Surprisingly, there was an eight year time period where one of the “upward launching” towers from Power Tower had no function and was solely for support. S&S apparently did this because of the electric grid not being capable of handling the current of all four towers. But when Mantis was converted to Rougarou, they strengthened the grid and added the launch for the fourth tower. If you look at images of Power Tower from its early days, you can actually see this. A little bit of rare history!

@@TP_Recommendations I knew about this too, but the design of that future giga was later used on a different roller coaster at Carowinds. That's why the layouts for Fury 325 and GateKeeper are so similar, it's because that giga wasn't supposed to be in the back, it was meant to replace the old bobsled roller coaster, Disaster Transport RIP, and Space Spiral which were both maintenance nightmares.

The website said that it could be subject to change, but don’t trust hope. COVID-19 has replaced it.

That was, for the most part, true before corona hit. Now that corona is here, I've heard a lot of complaints, but not because of the staff, but because of access passes and the mask requirement.

Masks aren't awful in parks so I think people need to suck it up. However, the access passes are stupid. I went to Dorney Park yesterday, and they didn't change a thing. There were social distancing marks in the queue lines. I get that CP is a bigger park, but they really should've figured out a better system

Although I have Autism and I can't wait in lines well, so I always use a boarding pass. So I don't think I'll even need an access pass

I was so excited to go this season but corona is all over. I know its open, but I really don’t want to go as masks cant prevent everything, and there is defo gonna be people who take em off.
