👍👍I have a Metabo HPT brushes half inch impact wrench, their mid-torque one with 18/36V 4Ah battery it will not break loose the lug nuts on my Ram 1500 two wheel drive truck. Nor will my Ryobi impact wrench with 4Ah battery. Had to get out my extra long half inch breaker bar to break them loose after some grunting😆. Before I buy this one, I’ll need to know if it will. As usual keep looking for you & your viewers money saving goodies. As far as the MM sockets We have odd ball vehicles one takes a 22MM & one takes a 23MM

Are you torquing the lugs on your truck over 100ftlbs? I talked to a tire shop guy a while back and he said you really should not go above 100ftlbs for American trucks. My Mustang should not be torqued that high really but I do it for the testing.

Looks like a nice tool. How does it compare to the Kimo impact driver you reviewed months ago? Great review.

It's very similar to the Kimo but this one has about 100FtLbs more torque, so a bit stronger. This one is also cheaper, and uses generic Makita batteries that you can get easily.

You can contact the seller and get more from them or you can use any generic Makita compatible batteries. It uses the same design as Makita batteries. You can look for generic Makita replacement batteries on Amazon.

How many lag screws of that size and dia do you think that would sink?

I think it will keep plugging away as long as it has a charged battery. BUT, my advice would be to not do that on a regular basis unless you want to destroy it. I only do extreme tests like this to show what a tool can do, but they are not made to work this hard on a daily basis. It's like driving your Toyota at the Indianapolis 500 every day and expecting it to last for many years or hundreds of thousands of miles. Even Indy cars don't always last the entire race. The more you abuse something, the shorter it will last. It's OK to abuse a tool on occasion, but not all the time.
