When Phil Corey’s band arrives at the Idaho ski resort its pianist Ted Scott is smitten with a Norwegian refugee he has sponsored, Karen Benson. When soloist Vivian Dawn quits, Karen stages an ice show as a substitute.

    Sheer class..........wonderful Glenn Miller music...the beautiful Dorothy Dandridge and the icing on the cake.........fabulous Nicholas Brothers............just absolute perfection.

    I like old movies so much better, so I'm looking forward to watching this. I see it has the Nicholas Brothers in it - they're always amazing. And a younger Milton Berle than I've ever seen before - I almost didn't recognize him! Jimmy Dorsey & his band are such a treat to listen to. It seems to have been such a simpler time. I miss those days of relative innocence.

    I love John Payne, but I've only just discovered him and his Films.. Why isn't he as well known as Cary Grant, Rick Hudson ,et al ?! Glenn Millers Band were fabulous in this, too ❤ ( could definitely live without the Ice Skating, )

    Glen Miller died too early - and he died a complete hero over the English channel supporting the English and the British fighting Hitler in the 2nd World War.
