Been waiting for this one. Hell yeah! The leaked song he references is "Things Get Worse" freestyle. There's two versions. The offical one and then the leaked one where he sides with Chris Brown when he assaulted Rihanna. It was made around 2009 when he was still going through rehab and drug recovery.

I like your viewpoints on Eminem's overall evolution. It's a simple truth that an artist can't, and shouldn't, stay the same forever. Evolution is a key to longevity and branching out, while avoiding getting stuck in a rut, is the best way to become a master of your craft...and while still being able to even enjoy said craft. Not only did Em become an even better emcee over time, but he's also steadily become a better person as a result of his willingness to change and try new things. Like any person, an artist needs growth. Haters be damned! Their jealousy, is rubber stamped on them.

Also no rapper has rapped for as long as people like Em, Jay-Z and people like that and not changed at least a bit. Like if Em sounded completely the same like he did back in 2002, no one would have kept listening to him. Certain fans may think they would, but no one would. The fact is, almost every album Em has sounded different on...he's always been changing. SSLP does not sound like MMLP, and MMLP does not sound like The Eminem Show. I would say Encore and TES sound the most alike but are still different...and Relapse does not sound like Recovery. Like people act like he's "stayed the same" for his first like 3 or 4 albums..but the fact is all of those albums are uniquely different too. =/

For the next milestone, you should do “Yah Yah” from Music to be Murdered by. You guys will love it and maybe take a lap or two. Lol Keep up the amazing work, and if you start revival please do “Castle” & “Arose” in the same vid and only use the official audio vids and not fan made ones. Some of them like to edit out important sound bits at the end of the songs

Caterpillar is a must IMO. Em has always said Royce is the only one who can really keep up with him on any song. I believe it if you listen to all the songs with him in the past decade or so. :)

Great reaction as always; you three have great chemistry together. Side note: There is definitely a rabbit hole (to straight up conspiracy theories) to go down when it comes to old EM vs new EM. There is the "main" crowd that simply wants his old music back; the reckless, less mature, EM. Some will argue it was his tenacity, others will claim it was the drugs. (though he produced most of his greatest tracks prior to becoming REALLY hooked on drugs.) Then there is the conspiracy crowd which "seems" crazy but, though the crowd is smaller, it's backed by some extremely knowledgeable people when it comes to music in general. They understand that an artist can change / improve, but there is something distinctly different between old and new EM. Some things, from a music standpoint, wouldn't simply change with time. We all have our core fundamentals that we work around, it seems like EM managed to morph / warp / change them all. Talk to someone with a high level music degree and have them compare old and new EM. (they would likely tell you it's not the same person) The only caveat to this is his overdose.. He had to relearn a lot, including how to rap again. Now, some will argue that he SHOULD have learned via his old style (due to mental muscle memory) so current EM shouldn't be this way regardless of his circumstances. That same crowd has a A LOT of photo's to compare old & new EM. We all know he had some work done (he looked sooo hard after the drugs.. and then suddenly didn't a couple years later when he reappeared) but outside of a major surgery, he shouldn't look how he does today. We see cosmetic work (on the big screen) that the best money can buy and it looks like sht compared to what EM apparently had done. I am not saying any of this is true or false because I don't know. But I do know there is definitely a lot more to EM then we may ever find out. Either way, I love his work and he is definitely one my favourite MC's. (GOAT)
