Pam, I love all the info you shares I have a question. That pencil with what you sign your work is very water soluble, right? How do you fix that without ruing it? 🙏🏻❤️

Hi Martina :) The pencil is water soluble, but not soluble in cold wax. I also use the same pencil to sign acrylic work - you can use a fixitive or blot with some gel medium on a non-textured paper towel to "fix it". I hope this helps! :)
I thought this was a video on mounting an oil/cwm painting on arches paper to the panel. Is that part coming?

Txz for this… quick question on your encaustic finish that you shared once ( using gloss medium and 0000 steel wool then cold wax surface) and I’m curious if that can be done on an oil painting that has too high a sheen for my taste. Txz so much, Jeanne

Jeanne -hmm I’ve never tried it but I think that might work! You might want to test that out - great idea!

I almost always sign in pencil. If it is an acrylic painting, I blot gel medium over it to fix it 😊
