204 Woodmount Ave, Toronto, home for sale
Situated on a 25’ x 100’ lot, 204 Woodmount Avenue is a beautiful 2-storey detached home nestled in a prime East York neighbourhood.
The enclosed front porch features a large double closet, and offers an inviting entry into this brightly lit and well-maintained home.
Brand new hardwood floors are found in the open concept living and dining room, and large windows allow plenty of natural light to fill the rooms.
Recently renovated, the kitchen is a beautifully designed work space with access to the backyard through the adjacent mud room. The kitchen is finished with granite countertops, tiled back splash, modern cabinetry with interior and under cabinet lighting as well as additional pantry space, and stainless steel dual sink and appliances.
New carpeting adds modern flair to the traditional staircase, which leads to the upper level’s three bedrooms and washroom.
All the bedrooms are amply sized, with the first bedroom featuring two mirrored door double closets.
The newly renovated main washroom is finished with tiled floor, glass enclosed shower area, and a modern vanity with moulded glass basin.
The master bedroom is a bright and comfortable retreat, filled with lots of natural light through its large window, and the third bedroom is a cozy space for peaceful rest.
The finished lower level features a comfortable recreation area ideal as a family room, play room or home office space. The laundry area is found off the hallway leading to the home’s second 3-pc washroom, complete with a glass-enclosed shower area and plenty of toiletry and bath linen storage space.
This home also features 1 parking space; a new furnace; new air conditioner; new hot water tank (owned); R12 insulation done in 2012; 200 amp service; and a new fence.
Well-maintained, and ideal for small families, first-time buyers, or empty-nesters, this home is close to the subway, Toronto East General Hospital, Danforth Avenue shopping and restaurants - and just a short drive to the DVP.

I love small houses they are cosy unlike giant mansions which can be very cold and unwelcoming. I think my love of small houses comes from my childhood when i played in my 'wendy house', lol.

You are absolutely correct. I am in a position to eventually take over the big family home but it is too cold, too sterile.... unlike my small cozy home in town. This house shown here is absolutely beautiful and decorated in a real wonderful manner, I personally would not change a thing.

@@georgewaters8592 Neither would I. Yes, it must be a dilemma for you to what to do with the large family home, it will also be expensive to heat.
Perfect house for small family..
This is an attractive house and I love the enclosed front porch. Three floors of habitable rooms and two bathrooms is quite adequate for a family. That lower level provides an excellent additional living space. The kitchen is not too my taste but that is a moot point.
Saving this video. This is all you need. Small home. Avoid paying too much taxes. That's being rich. You don't need a huge house.
What a beautiful home !! Everything about it makes it warm and very inviting.

Too close to the neighbors. I have a friend in San Francisco (originally from Canada) who is so close to his neighbor's house that he woke up one night with his neighbor's cat on his bed.

If so, that would be a deal breaker for me. Usually the main bedroom has its own bathroom, and for a million $ there should be a complete bathroom for the other two bedrooms to share. Also, there should be a half bathroom downstairs. It makes second rate entertaining to not have a toilet and sink downstairs.
No main level bathroom

It seems this house is somehow miss matched, like who ever designed it didn't think of many esthetics very well; firstly I dont like the staircase to the second floor its too narrow . The front room is attractive but too small plus the style does blend with the dining area. The kitchen is too large and too dark, what I didn't like at all was the rather kitchen off set counter tops especially the sinks, two small bar types with one faucet .? The rest of this house had too many design faults
