For me, the big ticket items are getting a hybrid engine with 4/5k towing and AWD. 35+ mpg with AWD is really a winning combination. I'm also hoping for sync4 or better with the larger screen. I love the look of the Tremor packages... if those came with 4k towing, in an AWD hybrid, that would be hard to resist - the perfect truck IMO. I like all of the new grills, except the Lobo / ST grill - it is ugly to me.

Tim, my favorite things you showed us are 1. Eruption Green color on the Mav; and 2. a possible package that offers body colored front bumper, side trim, bed rails, and rear bumper. Thanks for sharing these pics.

I still say fog lights would really finish the look on the Lariat!

Guess I'll be holding on to my 23 Lariat for another 3 to 4 years.

Just me thought but the front facia that leads from under the headlight, under the grill has to be a weird looking refresh. For me I much rather prefer the cool looking 2024 BOP front end. Maybe you should do an opinion poll to get others thoughts.

I find it offputting that Ford might remove something that doesn't cost them much, is old technology, and is standard on most vehicles, like cruise control, to encourage people to go up a level to XLT. Ford's brand should be associated with providing value.

Well done Ford I hope they use the Maverick hybrid drivetrain to build some Sports Utility Vehicles. Hopefully they can take advantage of the hybrid boom by using designs already developed. And I also hope they use the PowerBoost drivetrain to build a large SUV off. Hybrid vehicles are becoming big sellers so I hope Ford takes advantage of what they have in the stable to offer different types of hybrid vehicles. 😎🇦🇺👍

I just placed an order for a 2024 Maverick XLT FWD w/ black appearance & lux packages two days ago. I don't know if the exterior changes are enough that I want to cancel the 2024 and wait to order 2025. Wish I knew what the interior might be like too. I like the black roof and not having excess headlight glass if it is non-functional, but otherwise the 2025 changes make the truck look a little less beefy. Hmm...

The xl and xlt in the video are 4wd you can see a rear diff popping out ...

Hey Tim, enjoy your show. I purchased a 2024 Lariat BOP, Black Hybrid, Jan 2024. I'm very curios about how the hybrid works. I know the engine charges the battery and the system switches back and forth between full electric and ICE. I guess what I'm saying is what's going on under the hood to make that happen. I've noticed that sometimes the ICE runs even though the battery is fully charged, why is that. I'm trying to understand the technical side of the Hybrid. Iv'e watched many youtube videos on the hybrid but nothing technical like one would get from a Ford engineer. Also, what are those clicking sounds coming from the Hybrid truck when it's parked with the key not in range? Thanks again, Jim

On the XLT lower front bumper, you can see it has the same piece that is silver on the Lariat. You do not see that on the XL. So 2 different lower bumpers. Looks like that ‘diagonal’ portion comes out. So FX4 hooks and fog lights could more easily swap in there; were that portion looks fixed on the XL, like the current models.

I agree the XL has one bumper, but the XLT and Lariat are different from the XL but similar to each other. It looks like a removable cover for foglights. and it SHOULD be. The Lariat also has a sliver applique.

We don't know when the order banks will close. I can say that they will be scheduling for production dates into August but will probably close off order banks sometime in July.

was gonna get a new 24 ranger but my heart still feels for the maverick so ultimately Im holding onto my 21 f150 until the new 25 mavericks drop

Not sure on the Tremor package, I would assume it continues. I don't see a Raptor version. It would need a good engine upgrade for that to happen. Plus it would be easier to do on a body of frame versus and unibody like the Maverick.

No hood scoop for the v8? Cooled seats for those hot cloth buckets

They won't put a v8 in a compact truck. Ford has never put cooled seats in a cloth seat.

Not yet. As I showed at the end of this video, we have seen a lowered version we think will be the ST or Lobo. But whether its coming for sure we don't know.

No, bed won't change. Refresh years are usually just a grille, bumper, headlights, tailgate, and interior upgrade.

Had that green on my ranger not a enthusiast! I rather have Torch red with the coyote motor

Well, Well, this is going to make my 2024 Ford Maverick Hybrid way more expensive. This is a massive miss on Ford's part. The 2025 is hideous!

I feel lucky I got the 2024 Hybrid this year. The ugliest front grill. It does not even look like a truck anymore but a SUV. Other than AWD hybrid and a larger center console, it is not a upgrade at all. Ugliest at its best., NO fog lights ... ??
