2025 Chevrolet Equinox First Look - New Tech, Superb Safety - Canadian Information
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
We were invited for an exclusive first look at the all-new 2025 Chevrolet Equinox gasoline version and here it is.
As these are pre-production units, there was no drive component and please keep in mind some fit and finishes may change closer to production.
2025 sees the introduction of an Activ trim, there's an abundance of technology, a superb standard safety list and either a CVT or 8-speed automatic in front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configutarions.
In a very competitive compact crossover segment, how do you think the all-new 2025 Chevrolet Equinox will do?

I’m impressed! Got All The Bells & Whistles in it! Everything you want and look for in an Equinox
With each redesign vehicles are getting more expensive and unaffordable.
Wow you both are in the studio not driving around the roads of oakville what a nice surprise thanks for the presentation
It looks really good but the enigne 1.5 liter turbo naaah! A 2.0 Turbo or 2.4 ;iter turbo or naturally aspirated engine will be better. Attention GM Barra???
Great video and good information. I want one.
Too bad no other engine options.maybe one with 20O-225 HP would have been nice
I wish it had more horse power.
Do you know when Equinox goes on sale in the US?
My 2021 Equinox Premiere has a dual seat release in the trunk so i can fold down the seats from the rear of the vehicle, does this new generation carry that over to the RS?
thanks for the very informative video!

You’re very welcome!
Yes I agree with a entry model but the bare bones models sometimes don't sell well based on demand
Does the passenger front seat fold flat?
When is the darn Traverse going to be released?? Why can’t we get any updates on it
Why is the muffler covered?

Pre production vehicle.
I wish Chevy would hurry up and get these things on the lots, right now there's a HUGE empty spot between the $25k Trax and the $50k Traverse as far as the new designs.
Wny does Canada never get the most basic trim from the manufacturers? We're struggling with the cost of living up here, we'd appreciate affordable vehicles with just the essential stuff.

Wait until you watch our 2024 Mazda CX-50 base trim video coming next week. $39,300 and full of value.
Looks like GM is forcing you to buy a higher trim if you want a more liable option. Meh.... Baby mama's everywhere are excited.
They need something better than that 1.5 Turbo motor. No thanks!

@@Modern.Motoring A 2.0 or 2.4, or larger non turbo. That 1.5 turbo at 175 horsepower is not enough power for that big/heavy of a vehicle. They make all these improvements and only offer a carry over underpowered engine? Every review I have seen on KZread if you look in the comment section they all have people complaining about this motor, and disappointed they didn't offer a better motor, and a lot saying they won't buy it for that reason.

@@TheCaptjamestkirk They might (hopefully) add a hybrid or stronger engine mid-cycle. Fuel consumption and EPA requirements may have had a factor as well.
Looks don't give you any power nor comfort there's no room for your left leg. I'll never buy Equinox again
They said the same thing about the RS 2023 and is nothing but a piece of junk, you people check your leg room specially your left leg, before you decide to buy
Piece of junk the dealership won't honor the warranty
Great review format but the Chevy Equinox was and is a disastrous platform. Why would they put in a 1.5 litre Turbo engine? Did they borrow that engine from that garbage Honda engine with oil dilution issues and head gasket issues. GM is competing with Toyota RAV4 and Mazda CX5 or CX50…what makes them worthy compared to competitors? Can GM offer long warranty to gain consumer’s confidence on their vehicles? Come on, let’s go GM….time is running out for you guys.
