The all-new BMW M5 is here, and it's been worth the wait!
After months of anticipation, BMW has finally revealed their latest M5 masterpiece, and we’ve got all the details! So, what’s new in this beast compared to its predecessor?
On the exterior, the changes are striking. The new M5 is wider, featuring a bespoke sculpted bonnet, a light-up grille with integrated vents, and an aggressive bumper packed with massive air intakes. It sits lower to the ground, and at the back, you’ll find a boot lip spoiler, a huge diffuser, and large quad exhaust pipes that scream performance.
Step inside, and you'll be greeted by a driver’s paradise. The M steering wheel is adorned with M treatments, including logos, red icons, and a starter button. M stripes decorate the seat belts, and the sports seats are wrapped in luxurious Marino leather. An updated infotainment system takes center stage on the dash, ensuring you stay connected and entertained.
Now, let’s pop the hood. The new M5 is powered by the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 found in the XM, complemented by an electric motor. Together, they churn out a breathtaking 727hp and 1,000Nm of torque, rocketing this super saloon to 62mph in just 3.5 seconds.
But there's a catch-it’s 0.2 seconds slower than the previous model. Why? The hybrid system and additional features push the weight up to 2,435kg, a hefty 500kg increase from the last M5!
