I just bought a Jetta sport yesterday. For me this car is all I want in a vehicle. I came from a base model Kia forte 6 speed. It had nothing beside traction control so this is a perfect upgrade for me. A small screen that done at sit above the dash. A manual transmission. Heated seats. And front and rear facing cameras. Although I prefer my mirrors over a camera. Maybe I’m old school but for a beginner car or a commuter car for car pooling or whatever I feel this is a great buy

The Jetta Sport is probably the best value in a compact sedan. Plus having the option of a manual or 8 speed Aisin Japanese built auto is huge in that segment.

I’ve always liked the Jetta, an alternative to the others in the segment. I think the styling is on the conservative side but not necessarily a bad thing. Anyone know what the future holds for the Jetta in North America?

2025 is time for a refresh so hopefully it stays low in pricing when it comes out

Great review Anthony. For the $$ this would be my choice in this segment. I remember back in th 80's the Jetta was so popular and then it went through a bit of a malaise period and it's nice to see it looking good again. Too bad they don't offer a turbo. They are great vehicles with a lot of interior space and cargo plus a better warranty then everyone else. Another great start for the week, Toyota had the new 2025 Camry so I'm working late to finish up the review so I'll be ready for Ford tomorrow. Thanks James

@@HawkeyeRides Oh I did not know about the warranty. I realized the other day that I have not bought a brand new car in 20 years! I used to get new cars so often and more times than not they ripped me off. I look forward to seeing the Camry. Have you ever done a review of a Ranger Lightening? @@jameswalsh6131 they said they have the Ranger (I have a review on one) and new F150’s hopefully they still have it in the morning 😁. I know what you mean we bought a new Infiniti last year (10years it’s been for me) and we got 2k off 🤷‍♂️ what a deal 🤣

That black interior is hell if you live in a hot climate.

Yes but black cloth is the best in hot climates, beats leather
