Advertised as the perfect canadian sports car. I owned one for 4 months and traded it in. No remote start on a Canadian Car? Thats insane. The interior has got cost cutting materials and design EVERYWHERE. And for well over $70,000 canadian, 300+ HP is a very stale and weak offering, car handles great but feels sluggish after 160kph.
Good review but it's really too bad VW dropped the ball again on this model. Looks like they still have not fixed the ridiculous infotainment system and its exterior styling (especially the front end) is just hideous compared to the last 7.5 and 7.0 generation. The more I look at this car the more I'm convinced that I'm actually looking at a KIA and a Volkswagen. VW has lost a lot of fans with this getup. If I wanted a KIA I'd go buy the Elantra N and call it a day. I'll keep building my modified and meticulously fast MK7 Golf R until I move into the M340 or RS4...
