We recommend that you still apply. IELTS is just one criteria, if that is slightly lower in score, try making a good motivation letter to cover that gap or try covering it with a good GPA. One should always apply.

Not all universities accept PTE so IELTS is preferable. However getting a scholarship is totally based on your overall profile which includes a motivation letter, CGPA and IELTS score.

This is a misconception. Your networking with professors is only as good as your abilities and research quality. They will never give you undue favor only based on networking or based on your span of knowing them. However, if you are doing quality research, they will support you above n beyond.

Yes part times jobs are manageable but you should choose a degree that helps build your professional career rather than relying on part time jobs in the long run. So either learn and get fluent in Finnish language to get a job within forestry industry or seek an IT related degree and develop IT and programming skills.
