I was actually thinking along smiler lines To refresh the chronograph and three handed watches with ceramics

Please Tudor ... no more Black Bays, it's been done to death over the last few years. A new range or two would be nice !

I’m expecting Tudor to release a re-edition - possibly a limited one - of their 1954 Submariner, it’s the 70th anniversary after all . Any bets ? Cheers from Italy.

Tudor has definitely continued a trend to make their models more Rolexesque with better cases and bracelets while being more proportional

Cheers Andy. Let the speculating and prediction videos begin! I think there’s a possibility of Tudor bringing back the Prince name, maybe on that chronograph but with 3 sub dials as opposed to the BB’s bicompax - a 21st century Tiger in forged carbon. I think you’re right about the bracelet and movement upgrades across the lines, and I also wouldn’t be surprised if they discontinued the Royal range. I don’t think it sells very well and would make way for a line of Tudor Prince day and date-day models going back into their historical ranges.

My grail Tudor is a smaller chronograph model, ie. sub 40mm. That new pink release doesn't bode well for my dreams anytime soon. A more leftfield release would be to reintroduce the North Flag - a great model that flew under the radar

I've always wanted to have a watch collection and I want to start it off with a TUDOR any suggestions for a first entry level buy .

You can’t go wrong with the new Black Bay 41 burgundy. Great watch for the money. Worth trying a few on and don’t forget to ask for a little off if it’s an older model.

They will bring a Tudor sub with some rolex brandings at the clasp and the crown - Like blancpain Swatch Coop.- just in good 😅 nooo. I think there will be a new Pelagos Chrono or Heritage Chrono plus new 41mm Pelagos Model. They will bring a new colour to the Pelagos 39 and the Ranger. And a new colour for the BB54

I already like the BB54 and the burgundy bezel BB. I would give a ceramic Chrono some serious thought though as I would a refreshed Pepsi GMT.

I’ve been saying for years that we should be on the lookout for a tutor with a cyclops

Hi Andy I predict a Tudor gmt coke bezel with jubilee bracelet metas certified Tudor Pepsi and Rolex Pepsi same release date in 2018 so this time same Rolex also will have coke GMT so is very high changes

I'd love a Pelagos 42 GMT. I'd kill for a Blue Dial Pelagos 42 GMT.

Coke bezel GMT. Rolex seems to not be willing to bring it back, so Tudor should do it. I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

there are pros and cons to changing the case shape , currently the ser very similar to rolex for less than half the price and no waiting list , for me i prefer larger watch sizes so it makes no difference for me but for many 39-41mm slim case watches is where its at so losing the rolex look may not be the best option , also i really dislike the faux rivets , if they did a 45mm pelagos in stainless with proper on the fly adjusment i would get one ,m however i,m the minority , lol

Please no more aluminium bezels....... It's 2024!! For a brand that 'experiments' with materials, they seem to be scared of mixing steel and ceramic 😶

Back bay is the heritage range looking back in history for design cues. The pelagos range is the modern diver so Ceramic is on the pelagos and should never be on the black bay ( ignoring the black bay ceramic of course - which is the one id get if I hadn't got pelagos LHD ) ..... well not for another 50 years or so when black bay is getting influence from old pelagos models .

you get ceramic on oris and longines and lesser priced brands, don't think alliminium is cost cutting, more by design. I genuinly prefer alliminium bezals like pepsi etc

@Yorkiepoocharlie That makes zero sense. A/ Would you say the same about sapphire crystal? B/ You get ceramic bezels on pretty much every other brand from Pagani Designs up. C/ The Tudor Pelagos is Ceramic (but not a steel watch).

@@carlmoulton5719 Each to their own, but it's still odd they are pretty much the only brand not to have a steel/ceramic watch. The reasoning for liking aluminium is also very odd IMO. Ceramic can be matt, and the 'historic' thing is a nonsense when it has a modern sapphire crystal right next to it!

@@PabloTBrave Heritage lol? Why sapphire crystal then?! At least Omega did it properly with the Moonwatch choices (until the new white one). Its nothing to do with heritage, its because Rolex do not allow it ; )

It's fascinating how much coverage Tudor gets, given it was ranked 15th, being outsold by Hublot. I find Tudor a very expensive homage brand to the Rolex back catalogue, and I'm not sure the historic “wife beaters” ( Tudor) branding, set up as the poor mans version with cheaper movements is a brand story that excites. Without it's blatant Rolex rip offs, the brand wouldn't exist beyond being another micro brand. Buying your supplier of movements to then declare in house is comical, as are the slab sided proportions. I keep wondering what I am missing?

You mean like Rolex did in 2004 when they bought the movement manufacturing facility from the Borer/Aegler family? Face it Tudor is a better deal than Rolex these days.
