    @@TheYotaChannel I look forward to this same type of video with the hybrid version. I’ve been saving up for years to get a truck. Currently drive a 2010 Corolla with 310,000 miles. So I want a truck I can work on without needed shop tools like a lift. Keep up this style of videos. You earned a new subscriber

    I got a 2023 TRD Sport 4x4 a year ago this month. From what I've seen, the trucks are about $5,000 more on average over last year. The starting MSRP isn't what gets you. The 2024 base MSRP is not that far off from 2023. It those "optional" packages have gone significantly up in price and have bumped the final MSRP up so much.

    By far one of the best overview videos of the new Tacoma. Great mechanical overview as well. I know you mentioned doing a video on the TRD Pro, but what are the chances you could do one on the TRD Sport? I can’t imagine there would be much of a difference, but I figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask. Thanks for taking the time to create and upload the video.👍🏽

    Seeing the manual transmission put a smile on my face. Seeing the plastic splash guard on a 4x4 truck instead of a steel skid plate annoyed me. Toyota was drunk when they made decisions on this truck.

  • @TheYotaChannel

    @TheYotaChannel

    4 ай бұрын

    Im sure they have the TRD skid plate as an option to buy. I think they just wanted to save money by not putting the steel skid plate on, and most customers don't really do any serious off-roading with these trucks only a few compared to the majority.

    "Waste of time and money" I'll stick to my 2021 Tacoma TRD Sport V6 3.5L, power seats with rear leaf springs and a 21.1 gas tank and rear window. The new 2024 Tacoma only has a 18.1 gas tank wich it means more gas stops on long trips. By the way leaf springs brings more stability and capacity load to a truck when towing and stronger (weather), suspension especially on the rust belt states. If I want to buy a sport car then I buy a Toyota Supra. Finally Turbo charge engines don't last as much as regular engines and they are way more expensive to maintain due to more mechanical parts involved.

A lot of us like to take car of our own vehicles. The simpler the better. We are all going to get John Deer’d out of our own maintenance. On top of that we’ll be paying way above what we should just to have the privilege to drive.
