That's the most redundant sentence could I get what you're trying to say. There is no value with this price. It can't kill a value that's not there because the price is high. It's frankly slightly overpriced so other options like a well-equipped canyon even the Ridgeline Black Edition makes more financial sense

This should come in at 43k to make sense.

you're right. It's nice, rides great but back seat is small. I guess thats the cost of new vehicles, right?

I've always loved the Tacoma, but 54k for a compact truck is just insane, no matter how high in the trim ladder it is. Even in 2019, you could get really nicely equipped full-size trucks like a F150 King Ranch for that price. It's insane how much truck prices have gone up. This should top out at 43-45k max, with a barebones one being available under 30k. It's sad to see what the car market is now.

I’ll agree the price of This Tacoma is high but a new f150 king ranch is 75,000 an f-150 limited is 85,000. The prices of new vehicles now is absolutely insane

Amen, I refused to Purchase the new Tacoma. Terrible value for the money. You spend $50,000 and have a cramped small, cloth interior with a dinky-ass infotainment screen with bezels larger than a 1990's IBM Thinkpad. Trash.

Just saw a new 2024 silver Tacoma limited here on road in Indianapolis today temporary tags beautiful truck

So once the hybrid comes out we are looking at $60k price tag for this?! That interior is more modern, but still filled with tons of cheap plastic. Ridiculous.

they should have made a model with an extended second row. That backseat is small - even for a midsize truck.

I get over 30 mpg at 55 and 65 mph. I really like it but I really like some of the improvements on the 24. I figured that if I can't get a good deal on a limited or sport premium, I have no problem with walking away. If it's good enough for alkida and the taliban, it's good enough for me.

No way you can get a 2023 pro for that price

It’s averaging $8,000- $10,000 over its trim line equivalency of the Ridgeline, Canyon, Ranger, and Colorado. At $54,000 ….it’s not even the Trailrunner or TRD Pro, nor the upcoming hybrid versions. We are looking at $68K for a hybrid TRD Pro???

With $54,000 I can just buy a slightly used Toyota Tundra Limited or a Tacoma TRD.....

Is the camera system activated if its just park to record in case someone wants to break in.

Its Taco-Time for when you want the Price and Fuel Economy of a Fullsize Truck, but the Interior Room of a Brazil exclusive Subcompact Truck! Hooaaah!

Just looked on the Toyota build page and a DCSB 4x4 TRD Sport with Premium upgrade package is basically the same price as the Limited. That just seems confusing to me considering the upgrades you get on this over the top of that - full-time AWD, HUD, active dampening suspension, power steps, etc. Unless you really like the scoop or need a long bed, it almost feels like there's no good reason to get that over this if you want all the bells and whistles and are willing to pay the price. Just wish everything wasn't chromed out though, not a fan of that. Maybe they'll come out with a nicer looking "Midnight" edition eventually...

I’m really hoping they bring back the X Runner I almost bought the last year I believe it was 2014 it was 2017. I think they wanted 20 grand for it with 60,000 miles on it six speed of course had a speaker in the middle.

Looks awesome, great reputation...I don't need any more off-road than my Ridgeline trucks, as on road 95% of driving, not 95% off-road.

@sammyjammy6647 sure...nut I don't need to fo more than my Ridgeline trucks do especially that my 2009 has traxda lift and leveling kits 2" and Nokian AT winter rated tires.thst taco or full size trucks for me is like buying 1,000 condoms going to club only 1 night a year.

I predict that no matter the price, they won't be able to keep them on the lot. What is the alternative, buy a Ford Ranger and live at the dealership?

Inflation is making some car prices ugly. My 2018 Tundra Platinum came in at $47,995.

I just got the 2024 tacoma limited. It had 5 miles when purchased, filled the tank and it shows only 265 mile range. It is supposed to hav an 18.2 tank. My question is shouldn't be showing a 365 range? My second tank I wanted to check so I ran it to 40 miles left on tank of gas, filled it up and it took 11 gallons. I can't see how it could possibly have an 18.2 gallon tank. Am I calculating wrong? It shows I am getting 18 miles to the gallon currently plus I had 231 miles on it when I filled it the second time. Anybody have any ideas?

If it was the hybrid model with full time AWD then maybe worth the price.

Not a fan of the 5’ bed with the new cab. Looks short and out of proportion almost like a sport-trac. Would like to see more with the 6’ bed.

@@Ryan2022 truth is yes prices went up but only very little for example my truck brand new when I bought it a 2016 SR5 4 wheel drive and extras was 35k a 2024 SR5 4 wheel drive with extras is 41k so that little increase over that many years isn’t bad.

The nissan frontier is 8K cheaper, has a better power train with more power and looks just as good as the Taco-Toyotas prices have gotten crazy high

Must be a “pre production omission”…according to the Toyota website, even non hybrid Limited should come with full time 4wd I.e., a locking center diff; the one you drove did not have that.

Why so people can complain about the price of that too? They already complain about the price of the current one a loaded limited forerunner tops out at over $56,000 on one breath the same people say how great the 4runner is and how they don’t want to see the current generation go, but then they complain about the price. No one has any news about the redesigned 4Runner whatsoever. No one has any idea when it’s coming out but when the loaded limited tops out at over $60,000 instead of $56,000 the same chorus of complaints will rain down.

Don't like the grill and tye fact Toyota took out 2 cup holders in the center console.

The common theme here is the that Toyota is pricing themselves out. Who do they think they are Mercedes? Heck, even Mercedes vehicles are priced comparable to its lessor competitors. This process tag is gross. I’d just get a GM version with more power and torque.

Honestly it’s not that much of an improvement to justify the cost

I gave up on the Tacoma... its ugly, boring and extremely overpriced. Anyone buying a 2024 Tacoma right now are getting a horrible value. I decided to keep my 2005 Silverado and got a 2024 Kia Telluride, that vehicle is AMAZING. So much value for the money and WAY more comfortable to ride in than the new Tacoma. I'M SOOO Glad I didn't get the new Tacoma.

That would be the Tundra, the Tacoma has a "work truck" option that's pretty bare bones, the Limited is just for people who daily their work truck The Tundra however is pretty much always a daily truck

Ehhhh....those are all outdated features. 2018 Traverse already have all of those features 5-6 years ago. Please get rid of that hideous front facia plastic thing on the bottom of that front bumper. Nothing on there is limited....it's Nothing new.

I bought a 22 Ram Power Wagon in 23 for $57,000. Twice the truck Or more compared to a Tacoma in every performance measure but gas mileage. I'd rather have 410 hp than 18 mpg! I have been a Toyota/Lexus guy for decades, but I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices Toyota is charging. And a V-6 instead of a V-8. Forget it! Who wants Android? No one
