Some people might not know this hybrid vehicles your insurance company could charge you 7% more for owning hybrid vehicle because parts are more expensive and maintenance cost are high

I'd wait till the mini land crusier comes out.

I heard it’s not going to make it to the US market, it’s only for Asian market.

Well, I want an option that deletes LC badge and save 10K.

I was disappointed in mpg specially after they told us 27mpg combined with possibility of 30 mpg on highway . Hopefully 4Runner will have manual and higher mpg . I already have 2 gas guzzlers tundra and 18 sienna can’t afford 3rd

@Reu_ag if you google land cruiser mpg , all the links state 27. Multiple videos stating 27 including TFL

Any know what the turning radius and actual ground clearance for this? Their Website says 8.0 ground clearance but every site prior to that stated 8.7? Which is it? Does this have a worse turning radius than the current 4Runner?

Why would anyone buy this over the new Lexus GX 550 Overland???? For the price and features not to mention the better engine the Lexus is a no brainer.

Not a chance. Ugly, too expensive. Great choice for Gramps and Granny on a Costco run. Give me the 4Runner.

I think the question is, where will the new 4Runner be built? If no longer in Japan, then the Land Cruiser has more value and justifies its high price.

Another video says next gen 4Runner will be built at same plant in Japan as current generation.

Yeah, the one at the auto show was underwhelming. But it was basically a lowest trim/options possible .

I don't understand the hate for the LC having a 4-cylinder engine. Can someone explain? with the electric motor I would think you get plenty of torque at low rpm, with greater fuel economy. I don't get it ...

Its cuz when the 200 series LC was sold here, it had a 5.7 V8 that was super reliable, most folks are mad because of that reason and the downgrade engine to a 4 cylinder hybrid, the Prado has always had a 4 cylinder most of the time...

​@BigAltimaEnergy719 well compared to the Prado's cousin we got here in the US until this year (known as the lexus GX), the prado had an optional 4runner v6, in addition to the 4cylinder engines, diesel or petrol. While the GX gets the upgraded v8 engine. Now, the GX gets the twin turbo v6, and the LC 250 (prado in other markets) gets the Tacoma hybrid engine.

No thanks, I'll get the GX Overtrail for similar cost. GX has the better engine, better horsepower, better torque.

Too Expensive just like everything else now.

All of the rim choices are awful.

the Lexus looks way better and I would get the Lexus with the Tundra engine instead of the 4 cylinder engine the off road version for the Lexus I would get over the Land Cruiser and the Lexus tows more I believe then the Land Cruiser

Toyota smoking crack as always! Way over priced! And I don’t want to here they last forever I broke my taco in 8 months and got rid of it! Worst pickup I’ve ever had and I’ve had them all! I go with another bronco or more than likely another Jeep ,probably a nice Willy that I can get loaded for 50! And the Toyota dealer where we are in the mts of pa never has anything on there lots but 80,000 dollar tundras that just sit for months at a time!
