They are ABSOLUTELY crushing Honda

Hyundai's simply on fire right now. Out of all the car makers they are the ones who are on top when it comes to modernizing their product designs.

Wow, that is an INSANE transformation. Seems like an entirely new car and not a mid-cycle refresh. If I was in the market for a sedan, no question this would be at the top of my list. Great vid and upload!

Best Sonata to date. Best looking sedan in its segment. This destroys the new Accord. I see an emergency refresh of the accord when this hits

They're very good, but actually, Hyundai completely lifted the side design of the Sonata from the 2017-2018 Buick LaCrosse. The side profile of the Sonata looks great, but it's not unique. It already looked great on the Buick LaCrosse when Hyundai copied it!

@@user-ef1rz1vc2c possibly true. It was hard to understand exactly what features were available in the Korean market. The specific ones I'm referring to are the ability to use the cameras as a dash cam which was advertised on the Korean version of the Hyundai site, but I had to read it translated so maybe it's a bad translation. Also, the tail lights of being separate red and amber for turn is a nicer look than the American only red that does both. In this particular video, I'm hoping to figure out what those buttons on the side of the passenger seat for as we don't have that here and the dash cam button on the sunroof controls. We also don't have the rear sun shade here for the 8th generation

I just hope the lighting is the same in the US. The Korean/US model had different and way less cool taillights in the US for 2021

Just a fyi to american watchers, this is NOT whats gonna be in the USA. Hydunai always gives Korean models a lot more love, we'll probably not get the sun shades or passenger seat buttons among other things.

Love all their new cars... minus the Kona lol man, if hyundai offered a manual transmission for the Sonata, I would get one in a heartbeat.

It will. But unfortunately, some of the most popular features like Head Up Display and 360 Camera that are available on the SEL and Limited may not be available as options on the N-Line.

Beautiful car, but it's a shame that Hyundai doesn't offer the 290 horsepower "N-Line" engine in this model. Hyundai mistakenly seems to think that customers who want a luxury model don't care about performance, and customers who want the performance model don't care about luxury. That's simply not true. Offering things like Head-Up-Display on the "N-Line" and offering the 290 hp engine on the SEL and Limited models as options would be a welcome addition.
