2024 Tesla Model 3 Standard Range - First Impressions! Is It Enough?

In this video I'm driving a new Tesla Model 3 Standard Range for the very first time! This is my first time ever driving a Tesla, so I'm pretty excited!
I've been thinking about getting a Tesla for a while now. Figured it was time to actually drive one to see if it's something I REALLY want or not! Unfortunately, I didn't have a ton of time with the Model 3, so I tried my best to give a quick review and first impressions!

I currently have a VW GTI and I love the car but thinking about getting this (probably used). Had an e-Golf before that so im not new to EVs exactly. Im not sure if i should go with it, gonna miss the hatchback and my buttons lol. Or maybe get a newer GTI since theyre about the same price🤔

Decisions decisions lol. I’m probably going to go the used route to be honest with you. I can live with a little bit or road noise. Love some of the upgrades but I’m finding 2021-2023 used ones from 22k-25k with decent mileage.
I was also shocked how fast it was! I still want to try the LR to compare.

How's the actual range? With estimated EPA it's around 272, but I'd imagine it's about 90% of that

The new EPA estimates are pretty darn close to actual in my experience.

I’ve talked to people that have gotten about that or a little less. A lot of variables but I would say it’s safe to say 250-270 on average. Depends on how heavy your foot is lol.

There is. It’s funny that you asked that because I had to rewatch the video and it’s pretty dang dark. It has a light but it wasn’t very bright to be honest.

I didn’t buy the Model 3. I went for a demo drive to see if it’s a vehicle I would want. I never had been in a Tesla before. Definitely sold on it after driving it though for sure!

Yeah, I think it would help for people that are used to driving a gas car that does that. But honestly, I didn’t miss it with my time behind the wheel.
