    That spring action of the clutch...as a 5'8" height person, I find it difficult dealing with the clutch in the pseudo suv cars like creta, seltos. no ergonomic position found unless I moved way closer to the steering wheel. What's your take on why iMT is promoted so high by Hyundai and they themselves ditched it in no time?

    TVS has absolutely sprited engines, and much better quality than any Honda. And the service quality too is far better than Honda showrooms, at least in my experience.

    TVS have phenomenonal QC and after sales. I've bought my Jupiter in 2017, driven 30k kilometres, have all the original parts, no rattle sounds, give it a wash and it still look fresh out of showroom. Same with my 2020 Apache 310rr and 5 other TVS vehicals in whole family. After sales is also top notc, we've never had to keep any of our vehicals in service centre for more then a day even the accidental once. Always fast service they genuinely take feedback.

    tata feels like tesla of india. It provides us with a great product with loads of features but at same time the quality is always inconsistent and subpar standard. If someone buys a car for 6-7 lacs its acceptable but tata cars nowadays go upwards of 30lacs and at that pricepoint the panel gaps , bad instrument fittings are unacceptable

    Im a Altroz DCA owner and yes even my car has panel gaps and service centers need to change their attitude. Problem is there are no perfect cars out there. Before buying I considered i20, seltos, baleno and only dept these cars lacked was Build quality with 0 or 2 star safety. Finally I had to go with Tata altroz bcos Its a safe car at economic price. VW are very costly. If suzuki, Hyundai comes with with better build like tatas then their prices will go up. Anyways Im loving my altroz bcos of its superb performance on highways. Very stable with awesome handling. 120kmph feels like 80kmph.

    There was a poll posted on the Harriers Facebook owner page on 12th March asking whether owners are facing issues or not. The results were quite shocking because only 50 percent people did not face issues, 10 percent faced issues which were fixed after a software update and 25 percent faced niggles while other 15 percent voted gor the option "I have faced issues". Scrolling through the group wasn't any helpful either because there were hundreds of posts about harrier owners complaining about rattlings, rustings electronical failures and some even breakdowns that too only within a few days of ownership, no other vehicles owner group is as messy as the Harriers group. Really concerning considering the fact that this is their flagship model.

But I am following the one with 93 k members and there was a sudden rise of harrier owners complaining about one issue or the other on March, thats when the poll was posted. Now its less and only minor niggles are posted.

    @@priyamjoshi2667 None. The difference that I am trying to convey is, other car groups are not full of owners complaining about issues of their cars. Bonnet, panel vibration, rusting, electronical issues and sometimes major breakdown cases.

    @yourtechbuddy7880 New Brezza can score 5 Stars too. I am not one of them who think that New Maruti models are unsafe. They increased strength of body & now body shell is also stable in New Marutis. I hope that New Baleno, Fronx & upcoming Swift can score 4 Stars at least.(New Alto K10 scored 2 stars with STABLE BODYSHELL). 👍🏻

    its not just abt safety, ms should start improving the quality of its interiors, buttons n add more meaningful features. the dashboard of its latest brezza still has that old swift dashboard look. n the hard plastics being everywhere just makes it more worse

    they suerly are improving, they improved weight and strength of baleno compared to previous one, the new swift will have a lot of safety features standard in all variants, they posted video of fronx of getting test in their crash facility which also has all safety features as standard, and the cars above the price range of fronx and baleno are already decent to good in safety, maybe now just the entry level cars like wagonR spresso celerio needs some major improvements, also not just MS but hyundai seems to looks serious about safety as well they started with new verna then exter was marketed as a safer car and now new creta so if maruti and hyundai will improve their safety even till 4 stars which is good their sales would go up, also I don't think it will majorly affect tata as they have kind of found their type of customers in past 5 years and has a got a good marketing team with online fans

    Tata is already being smashed by Hyundai because Hyundai gets the basics right. Problem with Tata is that they’re modernising the designs and features but customers still get treated like they’re buying/servicing an Indica V2 despite having paid up to 35L on road in some cities. When you pay over 2 million bucks on road, people expect a lot not just from the product but also service and how they’re treated. Sales can only take you so far, eventually service matters to seal the fate of a brand’s future.

    Indigo XL was a legendary sedan, had features like electronic seats, rear seat entertainment, tray tables(even in base model) with bottle holder on tray center hand rest at rear had bottle holders too so 4 bottle holders plus extra bottle holders on door. these features even today many cars in 25L segment dont have.

    I took honda elevate ZX CVT after same conodrum. I miss ventilated seats and 360 degree camera. if you can live without them, go for Elevate. if it is manual, go blindly for Elevate

    Elevate is simply not up to the mark with it’s aging and under powered engine, poor quality interiors, no premium features offered and almost ZERO sound insulation. Even the suspensions are a tad bit hard for a Honda. I have test driven the auto variant and it is a disaster as I have had 2012 City with same engine and that simply rocks.

    I have recently bought XUV400 EL Pro 39.4 kwh model and though it has some misses which Nexon has but overall I find XUV400 way better and VFM due to larger cabin size, pleasing interiors, slightly better plastic quality, more HP, better proportions in the design and a very practical boot. However, both of these cars suffer from production quality issues but Mahindra simply feels more reassuring in build quality and practicality.

    Don't go for Polo, might have the most prestige, but not worth it, especially an old car. Grand i10 is okay, but a bit dull. Tiago is good, safe, solid, peppy. Ignis is the wise choise, might be low safety, but cheap maintenance, good aftersales, but not very good looking and has low prestige. Smart person will go for the Ignis (because of maintenance), but I would say either Tiago or Ignis.

    During our test drive the of the nexon dca petrol we found that the car starts in d2 gear instead of d1. In the Vw and Skoda they start in d1. So has anyone noticed this in their nexon dca?

    Yes, with paddle shifters you can start in 1 too. Mine also always starts in 2nd gear, infact except for very steep incline I've never ever seen it in 1st gear

    Tata need to improve service centre parts availability and quality control. I own tata punch, sometime problem in power window, sometime in AC and every time they dont have parts availability.

    The Nexon, Harrier and the Safari are highly desirable cars out there, but as Faisal said rightly TATA quality is inconsistent, unreliable electronics and not to mention 7:08 he has rightly pointed out the horrific after sales service...where other sold out you tubers only concentrate on the "build quality", this dude boldly pointed out the "genuine" cons also 👌👌👌👌👌

    If i compare tata punch with... maruti alto.... maruti alto is much much more smooth with clutch,steering and other stuff except the safety....

    I'm a altroz owner bs6 phase 2 engine is good.. it's not that performance oriented but very efficient and refined... And have ediquate performance too... But the panel gap issue is there on my car... It's quite disappointing ... ..

    Bought Nexon creative+ on November. Aaj Tak 8000 chala liya hai, screen kabhi bhi hang nahin hua. Android Auto Kai baar ek baari main connect nahin hota bas

    meanwhile, tafe access tata service center, egmore , chennai , didnt close oil cap during service for altroz for my friend's car and oil got spilled in engine bay .he noticed few days later.upon asking service manager, no proper reply or responsibility taken. baffled how tata is getting top sales despite poor service..

    These new age headlight design of being futuristic just doesn't give these cars a better look...... rather makes it very dull. The only design of TATA motors that I liked was that of the Safari Storme which was discontinued long back.

    I don't agree with the fit and finish point , as because panel gaps develop with a long period of usage. This happens in companies like Mahindra , Suzuki , Toyota too.. The Touch screen issue is not at all there in Tata Nexon . It has the best quality touch screen in the segment. The Petrol engine is quite good enough but it lacks punch.

    Being a tata car owner (Tiago xto 2021), i agree that the fit and finish are not up to the mark. Moreover, the after sales service is still a hit or miss. Honestly talking, I would choose the Kia sonet for this price. It may miss on the safety part (although the sonet still feels a bit more safe as compared to breeza and other offerings).

    As a tata altroz owner i am not at all satisfied but got into the ghumla of 5 star safety rating, theres always some noise from the bonet for all the altroz cars but tata refuses to recognise it as a problem

    As I tata nexon owner, I do not recommened all to buy tata cars. They seriously need to fix quality control. I brought nexon in 2023 and not even after one year I started to face many problems like battery issue, android auto connectivity and even after several visits to service center the issue of wheel calibration hasn't been solved. I hope tata will take a note of it.
