Ready to WAKE your bike up? Give us a call to schedule your appointment! 727-256-0001! Proven Power Cycles is YOUR motorcycle performance shop!
Today we take on a 2024 25th Anniversary Suzuki Hayabusa! This thing is BEAUTIFUL! Now, when he came in, he had installed yoshimura slip ons, but that was it. But, that busa exhaust didn't last long. The whole list of things we did to this busa is this: Brocks camshafts, brocks velocity stacks, we checked the valve clearance, upgraded Sprint P08 Filter and a brocks penta-carbon exhaust. So yeah, I guess you could say that this is a straight up Brocks Performance Hayabusa! While going through these motorcycle upgrades, we show you a little bit of behind the scenes so you can see what it takes to do all of this. Once we get everything installed and ready to go, we throw it on the dynojet dyno and give this beast a custom tune. The stock power of the 2024 Hayabusa is a little lower than you'd think. Their website states that it makes around 187hp to the crank at 9,700rpm. Remember, crank or brake horse power is different than wheel horsepower. Wheel hp is the power that is ACTUALLY applied to the road. Between the engine and the wheel, we have the driveline which steals a bit of power. Here we show you the REAL horse power numbers of this hayabusa on the dyno. Real Live dyno sheets coming up!! Enjoy!

That was a cool, honest video. My bike is the one on the Moore Mafia Brock’s Cams video and it made 191 hp on pump gas that had been sitting in the tank 5 months. My 1000 made 184.5 hp on pump gas that had also been sitting in the tank 5 months. They both probably would have at least made a couple more horses with fresh gas. I stopped riding my sport bikes after I bought a ‘23 Road Glide Special in October ‘23 and a ‘24 CVO Road Glide ST in March of ‘24. My bike has a Brock’s CT exhaust that’s meant for a Gen 2, I used HTP Velocity Stacks, and I have World Wide Ceramic Wheel Bearings. The cams made a huge difference all around and my rev limiter doesn’t kick in now until around 11,800 and it puts like a rocket ship all the way to that point. I would highly recommend the Brock’s Cams to anyone with a Gen 3 or considering purchasing a Gen 3. A lot of people are disappointed with the Gen 3’s performance; well here’s the fix.
Love the fact you was honest and said other shops post dyno graphs and not actual every last mod that’s on bike set up lol but honestly dyno number is just dyno number easy way to tell if you got your moneys worth is a drag slip ticket or a dragy

The only color busa I would buy. My old fz-09 was orange and you could see the gold flake in the sun. truly beautiful.
Really good gains and no loss ! The amount of smooth torque 4k to 8k will be great to use on the road.
Nice work, hope to see you guys soon

The orange color❤😊
I tuned the GSXRs back in the day the hard way with carb jetting. If the customer George is willing to pay for it, you should do another dyno pull the next time he has 500 mile cams break in. Than shim the intake valves to exactly 0.05mm and exhaust valves to exactly .10mm. Run the busa on the dyno after exact valve adjustment should pick up an extra 2 to 5 HP. I would love to see a follow video to see if I'm correct. This is how I did all customer bikes, but I was fully stocked up on the shims and was all about extracting maximum power what while maintaining reliability.
TechSpec tank grips for the win!
@provenpowercycles - Thank you for the honest review! These days, it's sort of tough telling which shop does/doesn't know what they are doing...you guys get a big thumbs up from me. When I put my M4 exhaust on my gen 3, the stock header bolts were bent just like the ones in the video. Crazy stuff.

That's wild 😳 never seen that before on an oem setup.
Whats the last little mods you can do to go over 190power you said is it difficult to do?😊
Yeah, so you have to go through the expense of cams to come close to gen 2 performance. That's a no-brainer, I'd go out and find the nicest second gen I could. Yeah yeah, the new one has cc, 6 axis imu but it's still essentially the same bike for WAY mo money. I don't know, you can go out and find an awful nice second gen in my neck of the woods for $11-$12k or so.
Have you experienced the hot starting issue with the gen3 hayabusa’s that have been at your shop? When hot they act as if the battery is flat &/or the starter is binding,
Damn it, that was impressive stuff. Cams and a pipe make such a difference. I would wonder, if you would've done a 5-angle valve job on the head? Yes, money for labor, but cheap for parts.
Are these parts available for the 14 too?
That's the heart-breakiest heart-breaker dyno I've ever seen, ha-ha!
We did a brocks system a couple weeks ago at work, had the same issue with the header bolts. Im thinking they just used cheap(er) stainless and overtorqued them...

Great content. Guessing your dyno is a tad heartbreaker. Was expecting closer to 200 tbh. Seen brock made 210 on mr12 but u addressed all the little dyno wizardary😂 still its the before vs after that counts, u cant race a dyno sheet.
@provenpowercycles

Yeah we have had multiple tuners come thru here and rent our dyno out and they all have said my dyno is a heart breaker. Travis Yager (he does a lot of H2 builds), has had to revamp his power numbers on his H2 packages because how low my dyno reads compared to his old dyno back in TN. 😅
I have the same bike and I want the same set up, just need the time ($) if you know what I mean. And I am very close to you guys, so when I decide to pull the plug it will be with you guys...
So the 14 has more hp than a busa with all this stuff?

the bent header bolts are a know problem I have a 23 Busa when I put new exhaust on mine had the samething lol

I'm just guessing but it's probably from the high heat and the heavy stock exhaust and not using hard enough metal to support both issues.

Nice. Approximately how much hp might you expect with a complete head job? How much for a 1K?
@provenpowercycles
26 күн бұрын
An actual head job could yield an additional 10whp or so. Between little tricks thrown at it and some parts swapped out. I'd say around 200whp on pump and 207-210whp on mr12.

@douglasgrosch228 ecu flash can change the timing issue. On mine besides doing that. Alot of gen 1 zx14 parts will work on it. I run sprint air filter, zx14 throttlebodies which are bigger than concours, brocks CT dual for the zx14. Just these things make it night and day versus a stock one.

Stick a 2teeth less rear sprocket on it
If you're going to install a Sprint filter may as well not install anything. You'll have better results with the same amount of dirt ingestion in your precious $18-19K motorcycle. EDIT: Nice #'s, good job. If it were my bike I would have derestricted it and leave it alone. Just for the reliability factor, ease of repair, OEM parts accessibility and higher resale value which on Japanese Sport Bikes (by nature) tend to be dirt low. If I were 20 years youngers I would have done what you just did. But I'm not.😝

It’s crazy how 1000cc bikes nowadays make close to 200 hp with almost nothing in comparison with the Hayabusa numbers with all those mods. Still cool anyway.
@JNAMOTORSPORTS
25 күн бұрын
It’s crazy how you don’t understand the busas engine is basically the same since 1999. These bikes have newer engines and technology.
Drop the motor, install high ratio 5th n 6th gear & low ratio 1st gear & up 1 tooth on the front sprocket with new shift forks. Install 72mm stroker crank, -2mm Carillo conrods, 84mm bore cylinder block, billet cnc ported head with 2mm o/size intake n exhaust valves. .415/.377 Web Cams & Akrapovic Race Exhaust & your good to go. After running a 1580cc Gen2 for a few years, that stroker motor torque is the only way to go on the highway.
No way is the cost of everything justified for 20 horsepower, people WASTE so much money on silliness, ive got a 23 Hayabusa, a few tweeks to the stock components, exhaust, airbox, velocity stacks, and fueling and timing, and the numbers are where they should be. These bikes don't need all that miscellaneous stuff thats making people rich and tricking people into believing something amazing just happened to their bike 🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂 someone who has a thorough understanding of the components i spoke about earlier and how to utilize such info knows you don't need to waste your money.but to each their own i guess
