Awesome review. Everyone is focused on RS and not many making videos around Touring or base. Appreciate this detailed walkthrough :) How is the cabin noise compared to the RS ? Also, Is the sound system good enough? I so much like the RS (for 2.5 and sound system) but planning to book Touring in Ontario for financial reasons. May I know what is the wait times for new bookings these days? Cheers!

Thanks for watching! I try to cover all of the inventory that we get in, especially the lower end trims. I can't say that I notice a difference in road noise between the two. The RS is very nice, but the Touring does everything that the RS does, while consuming less fuel. Congrats in advance!

Awesome review! I'm planning to buy my first car & after watching your review I think touring is better choice over convenience because it has alloy wheels, fog lights, heated seats & few other goodies.

Huge fan of the 24 imprezas. Wish it got the oldstyle hoodscoop for the RS thats just my only pep peeve with the car mostly because its an RS, would have liked for them to to do more to the car to make it more unique but have the ability to put a turbo in the impreza rs just like the good old days

I wish that the hood scoop was an accessory option.

I wonder if a spare tire can fit in the rear if you remove the foam with the fix-a flat kit. Separately, do you know if the sunshade is actually the same for this year’s Impreza/Crosstrek? The Subaru website claims that it is, but that doesn’t make sense: there’s an extra wide-angle camera, so the cutout doesn’t fit.

I'm betting it could, but you'd have to test fit to confirm that 100%. I do not know if they're the same and I don't have one in stock to test with. They might have just superseded the part number with the new one and only make the new style one now.

A dealer could order you a spare tire/wheel, but there is no accessory for it. Spare tires/rims are generally on the more expensive side. You'd likely be better off/more cost effective to get an aftermarket wheel/tire in the correct size if you were going to do that.@@brianknight3750

It's a great detailed review. The review said that an optional cargo cover is available but the Subaru Canada website said it was unavailable. Also, is there an optional compact spare from Subaru Canada?

There is no compact spare available as an accessory from Subaru Canada, at this point. You can just use the Cargo Cover from the Crosstrek - seems like they just haven't updated the website to reflect that.

@@TysonTheSubaruSpecialist I just received my 2024 Touring and very impressed. It has more pickup than my 2010 Impreza. My dealer is putting together a compact tire spare using Crosstrek rim and Impreza spare tire. The cargo cover was available and installed.

@@user-rj6ze8bq5p Congrats on the new Impreza! Your dealership must be ordering the Crosstrek accessory tonneau cover as it's still not showing on the Subaru.ca site. What are they doing in regards to tire storage for the spare? Are they trimming the styrofoam, or removing it all together? Are they supplying you with a Subaru oem jack, or are you going with something aftermarket?

@@TysonTheSubaruSpecialist If the compact spare tire is installed, the insert foam will be removed. Unfortunately, the jack, tools, etc. will be stored differently like a bag next to the spare. Do you have any suggestions?

@@user-rj6ze8bq5p I'd ask them to source you one of the spare tire tool holders from a Wilderness Forester/Outback that sits inside of the spare tireand see if it will fit.

How much is the touring in price? Compared to base or rs.

The Touring is 3200 more than a Convenience, but only 1,800 less than an RS.

Auxiliary - hopefully that would enable a driver to plug in a CD player or a disc man.

Excellent. For me, that would make it easier to deal with a CVT rather than a manual gearbox, although the S mode is some of the way towards one of them. @@TysonTheSubaruSpecialist

Touring trims have always been in the Impreza line up.
