Today, I've got an amazing video for you for multiple reasons!
1. It was a beautiful bluebird day in central Colorado!
2. Monarch Mountain has received 56" of snow in the last 7 days.
3. On my third run, I had a hilarious head first wipeout.
4. I downloaded all new music to supplement my video.
5. I recorded in 4K at 60 fps so the clarity is incredible.
If you happened to watch my Monarch video from 3 years ago, this trail is where my greatest wipeout of all-time occurred...and that was definitely in the back of my mind the whole time.

So, let me tell you a little bit about this hidden gem of a ski resort!
Monarch Mountain is located 21 miles west of Salida, Colorado. It’s situated on Monarch Pass at the continental divide.
It officially started as a ski area in 1939, although people had been skiing the mountains surrounding the valley as far back as 1914.
It has 67 trails, two terrain parks, and an extreme terrain area called Mirkwood Basin, which consists of 130 acres of double-black diamond extreme skiing!
They’re open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The season pass is currently priced at $659, which is a really great deal! They pride themselves on being an independent ski resort who doesn’t use any snow making equipment at all. Their snow has been 100% natural since 1939.

► I actually had so many great memories of my first camping trip that I decided to do another one. So, in April 2021, I converted a 12-foot enclosed trailer into a camper and documented the whole process.
► In June 2021, I reached 1,000 subscribers and was able to monetize my channel.
► By January 2023, I was already at 2,000 subscribers and counting!
